First one I decided to make was a Catchmoon primary I decked out with radiation damage. Decided to name it "The Microwave".

It's worth mentioning both Catchmoon variants are very similar to the Arca Plasmor. So similar, in fact, that they also had their headshot multiplier straight up removed from the game because they were too powerful. So if you build for crit, body shots are just fine.

@@noahedenborg4221 Some of the newer 'removals' of headshot multi are just negating their crit bonus. I know the original nerf to secondary Catchmoon was a straight removal, but they may have changed that when they started making the newer versions. OFC, until the SP Arcanes it didn't really matter, I don't think. Not many ways to get headshot multi specifically, and none applied to the nerfed weapons at the time.

Great video! Thank you, your videos are great source for understading things easily and seeing all the chambers was what I was looking for

I made a tombfinger secodary as soon as I unlocked them, and named it Glock-n-Spiel because I'm hilarious. It's pretty meh cause I had no clue what I'm doing, but I revived it when I got Octavia for the lulz. Keep meaning to go back and redo it for the other chambers and a replacement Glocky, so this will help loads, thanks!

Thanks for this video! I didn't even know there were two versions (primary and secondary) of kitguns.

Catchmoon secondary has innate impact procs, so build it for crits and raw damage and slap hemorrhage on there and you have a sidearm that will kill almost everything. hornet strike, magnum force, galvanized diffusion, lethal torrent, Primed pistol gambit, primed target cracker, hemorrhage, and gunslinger. Put on haymaker, splat, and catchmoon. The slash procs only get affected by BASE damage so putting pummel on there does nothing, and if you have a riven replace gunslinger. Also don't let fire rate go over 2.50 because of hemorrhage. You are very welcome, tenno.

Question. Does the primary variant also get innate impact procs? I already have a strong weapon for my seconds just wanting something for my primary. Could even run high crit for hunter munitions on it too. Actually now that I think about it. The catchamoon is considered a shotgun in primary form so it doesn’t have a impact to slash mod like the secondary form would.

@@ERBanmech Here's a fun thing you can do on archon hunts: bring this as secondary with my build and use it against horde, and then you slap one of the zariman weapons onto primary to kill the archon with. Personally i use this catchmoon and a felarx, makes this thing into a speedrun.

@@swaghettimemeballs4420 yeah I run a felarx on my chroma with nourish for added viral damage (since even though nourish is still a weapon damage buff that doesn’t even require a free mod slot it still works without having to replace vex armor) I’ll have to consider replacing my laetum out on him since overusing it on builds can get stale.

@@ERBanmech the catchmoon build is more about having something that you can repetitively use on ALL of the archon hunts, something that doesn't need headshots to become good, doesn't require you to aim, and that simply ignores armor. Or specifically, the build is actually meant to kill aerolysts. Because the beam itself hits *everything* in its way, it can hit all of its weakspots at the same time. Catchmoon secondary and arca plasmor are the games's two best aerolyst killers without any doubt, and making the catchmoon bleed means it can't even be countered by resistances, armor, or even by hard-to-hit weakspots. It hits everything, and it gets THROUGH everything, except damage attenuation. Oh and it also one-shots literally _any_ sentient once merciless gets high enough.

I have decided that if I ever end up using two kitguns I'm going to name them "Smith" and "Wesson" respectively

Aah... a man of culture!

The first gun I forma'd in warframe was a kitgun, the sporelacer secondary with max crit. I completely filled it with formas and as better mods were coming my way I was replacing the old ones. Baro helped a ton bringing primed pistol mods quickly after I started working on that kitgun. I have yet to find content in the game I can't comfortably do with that kitgun, and it's so easy to use since you don't really have to aim at your enemies lol. Sometimes I just run around shooting at the floor and everything around me melts. Even in steel path.

Doing exactly as you said. Looking at how everything fires before choosing which to build and what for.

Damn, I made a Tombfinger back when there were only secondaries, but the primary version looks like a custom Ogris, which is one of my favourite weapons. Now I kinda wanna craft the Tombfinger again, but I should make different chambers first...

I am literally using a gilded kit gun and it shreds hardcore I am using two high fire rate components and it is insane how much damage it will deal once I max it out

With the secondary beam I was thinking of adding the infestation esc element to make a little plague maker papa nurgle would be proud

What Kitgun setup would be best to give your railjack Engineer/Defender?

I know that my comment is one year late but I really need an answer. If I keep mixing parts into new weapons, will I get MR for each one of them or they will be considered as one gun?

Only the chamber will count. For example, you can make a catchmoon chamber primary and secondary weapon. Each kind will count towards mastery rank only once (after being gilded). If you make more kitguns with the catchmoon chamber they won't count towards mastery rank.

whats the highest dps chamber for easy or high occurenc headshots?

I plan on crafting my first kitgun which I feel ima go for the catchmoon shoot and rattleguts primary fire type cause I'm mainly building for primary fire rate, and high critical damage and chance
