I don't think "sleek" is a word I would use to describe this kitchen. It's much nicer than sleek. It's warm, comfortable, and elegant. 8/10

I agree, "sleek" is a word to describe a minimalistic white kitchen like you would see in a Hollywood Hills party house. This kitchen is the opposite.

Olivia did a great job! People complain about so many white kitchens on other videos and now people are complaining about the wood cabinets. Good thing she doesn’t have to please random KZread commenters who don’t live in the house. I think it’s awesome and she thinks up great functional solutions uniquely suited to her clients.

I think you did ALL you could do with this space, and of course it's yet another OMG WOW moment to see this video. To understand how the stairs were moved, I had to go through your video again. In doing so I discovered so much you did not focus on, the wall/stove area, the wall opposite the banquette/dining table (and left of the bathroom), a lot do discover! I FINALLY understand the banquette and the comfort factor! And THIS is why I need to hire a design team! Exquisite!

I love the makeover and the dining area is quite beautiful. The kitchen looks like someone could afford to replace everything but the dated cabinets and doors. Even though the wood does seem original to the home, which still makes it appear a bit dated...it works! And it's good that the wood doesn't seem fabricated (not sure if it is or not). The kitchen cabinets give me vintage/mid mod with updated, cosmetic finishes. I enjoy a collaboration of vintage and modern.

'Sleek'.... ok. '...detail on the windows...a little French bistro, warm, a little bit agéd...' Uhh, yeah, they're nice windows with a classic look. But a little bit agéd.... hmm ok. A round table against a square banquette. I hope you dont mind leaning over to eat if you're in the corner, or have the table against your torso if you're in the middle, or sitting at an angle on one buttock if you're on the outside. 😂 The banquette is nice because it provides lots of seating area and storage. But even if you had chairs all the way around and had to pull the table out a little more, that wouldn't be such a bad thing. I'm a little confused by the floor plan, the dining room is toward the front of the house and the living room is between the kitchen and dining area. Either the family switched the functions of the rooms or the floor plan was labeled incorrectly. Or maybe the floor plan was really intended that way. Interesting. Anyway, nice kitchen reno. Clever move with the adjustment of the stair direction. The descriptions are so funny!

The all-white concept is older than 2019, we all knew it wasn't meant to stay 😅 I've even seen 80's interior designs in all-white but it's like an 'exotic experiment' that cannot feel like home. The irony of minimalists going back to colours [...] And with wood it always depends on the colour.. ☺️

I like the general idea, but don't really like the design. What a bland powder room! And a truly awful location, given that's the only dining area, so even during a holiday dinner, people will be coming in & out. The dining area is cute & a good concept, although not totally in love with the look. Those cabinets though - so hideous! And what's with the coffee maker being downright hidden? No functional triangle.. long walk from sink to stove. I think the natural wood tones were a good idea, but I'd go for a way more modern-style cabinet. There's so many retro pieces that it looks dated. Not sure what's up with the red rug in the kitchen given that color is used nowhere else in the whole kitchen. The stone is nice & probably my favorite part of the whole kitchen.
