Heather, Wonderful episode.. Alena seems to have lived ( and still seems to be living) such an interesting and eventful life and enthusiasum is so palpable..which makes her a great story teller.. and you are so good at guiding the conversation... But hardly got to see the food 😂 Hope you got to have a good time in Istanbul!

You are so right- what a wonderful story teller!! But also, we realised that we need much more food in the episodes! 😅 By episode 3 I think we’re getting a better balance, but let me know what you think if you get to watch! I love concept of this channel. first ep of first season turns out to be one of my fav musicans. I love watching this ep she telling us a lot of her stories that we couldnt find on musical album jacket or concert venue interview.

Happy to see she is playing some in the U.S. these days; hopefully I'll be able to hear her sometime in a good (acoustic!) environment.
