Woohoo! I really feel like I killed two birds on this one. I've always wanted a mouse droid and I've been trying to think of a cool way to display my droids at events. and BONUS ; I discovered these super cool LED Displays that I"m sure I will be using again for something down the line.

I really enjoy your builds, and your video. You really inspire me to start working on my own builds. Did you think about mounting the LED panel flush with the shell's surface?

It pretty much is flush, and it's designed to be. I may just have to clean out the recess a bit and give it a sturdy push.

Love the build! I actually just got the starter kit from Elegoo and wanted to incorporate some Star Wars robot goodness, gives me some great ideas. You might have mentioned it but what LED display are you using?

Hey man! Yeah I don't think i actually mentioned. I need to make a BOM for the GitHub. It's a 64x32 3mm Pitch LED Panel. Adafruit sells them for about $90. I generally like to support Adafruit because they keep all their boards open source, and I've definitely used a lot of their files as templates for my own builds so I try to purchase from them whenever I can. However, if that's a little out of reach you can find the same panel on AliExpress for about $20, but you'll have to wait for shipping from China.

Did you finish copper?

Does the mouse droid housing block the ultrasonic sensors on the front?

It would.....but I removed it. I removed both the ultrasonic sensor and the line-following module for the mouse droid build. Didn't need them!

How tall are you for the clone trooper build?
