Thanks 😊, I have always thought there was some sort of similarity between the HMS ark royal 1938 and IJN akagi they both have giant hanger space and both very tall, well done.

This looks like a good kit, if I ever get the money, I might buy it :)

Sure! Since I’m always suggesting warships you could do HMHS Britannic? Or you could do the HMS renown, sorry everything I suggest is British my main interest in ships is the Royal Navy I don’t mind if you want to shift topic to another nation.

Nice build, I own Tamiya or Hasegawa's Akagi, I can't remember which. Nice way of adding the exhaust for the downswept funnel. Do you have any other Japanese carrier models? Again, great job, take care, and all the best.

I have a 1/700 IJN Zuikaku as it is my favorite aircraft carrier.

@yamato30 does it look good? Or is it in need of a modernisation, I’m surprised that you are able to do modernisations I have only done two HMS Nelson 1/700 and starting 1/600 mauretania modernisation, it can be boring doing the same kit but just modernising.

@Yamato30 There is another film titled, Dauntless: The Battle Of Midway, however that film had a smaller budget, and only portrayed the American side. Take care, and all the best. I actually was surprised to see Yamato, in the new film Midway, and would have understood if they hadn't included it. Since Yamato was a small factor at Midway.
