Hi! I hope you and baby Glines are doing great 💖 Have you considered (whenever you would have time to do it) putting together little “capsule make up” bins? So gathering a product from each category that you have commented on needing to try again, not remembering, etc. and creating a bin with a full face worth of the products you want to revisit? You could do multiple different bins and then have a capsule make up series using the products that you wanted to revisit!

@@marciareagan2718 and taking it one step further, if any of the products are not hitting it out of the park for you declutter them immediately. This way people get a chance for a donation from a declutter and not waiting 6 years for old and unused products.

Girl, I'm proud of you! This was less of a show and tell (which I don't necessarily mind) and more of an actual declutter.

Can you do a full face of old faves you found again after the declutter? I love how you do your makeup, it always inspires me 💜

On the back of the item, you'll see a small container with what looks like an open lid with 6M, 12M, or 18M. Once opened, that is considered the expiration date in "months". 6 months, 12 months, etc.

I realize this was posted a while ago, and I'm not Allie... but... I have tried that mascara (put off trying it for months, and idk why) and it's surprisingly good. It does have a weirdly shaped brush, reminds me of some kind of hybrid sea creature. I thought it separated lashes nicely, built up volume easily, and didn't seem to flake or transfer. Also it came off with just warm water and a small towel (that's my go to removal method, I clean up the smudged eyelids afterwards with a gentle soap and gentle moisturizer). If it matters, I've only tried the mini/travel sized version. I had a few full sized that came with kits, and I gave them away because I didn't think I'd like it lol (For reference, my favorite mascara is the discontinued Laura Geller LashBOSS original, and current are tower 28 & ilia limitless)

Sometimes declutters are hard for me?!?? EVERYTIME declutters are had for you!!! 😂😂😂

Question, has anyone here ever mixed liquid highlighter or blush with moisturizer? Just to tone it down a bit, when needed for a no makeup makeup.

I know you can mix concealer with blush to tone it down. Might work with highlighter too. I would think moisturizer would work as well. It might lift the foundation though.

Cookie from Benefit is actually so beautiful!! Especially if you pick some up and spray your brush with a setting spray (then apply suuuper gently and it melts into the skin without being full glam if you want it more toned down)

If you pulled 1 palette from each drawer and did a project pan you would never need to purchase another cosmetic product again! That would be satisfying

You need to do a video using some of the products you forgot you had until you decluttered! So sort of a full face of nothing new but specifically with products you forgot you had

What happened to the Victoria Beckham highlight stick? I didn’t see it in the declutter-does it make the cut? I hope you’re enjoying being a new mom 😊

I was watching for that one too!

This was definitely a better declutter but more work can be done especially for any that are actually old and expired. Some need to be removed and repurchased I think. Again if they have ingredients that are not so safe, I would declutter.

Sounds like it was an accumulation of things including covid. They shut down in Sept 2021. But Smashbox picked up several of their products. So you can still buy through them 😉
