I haven’t been watching Allie long enough to know, but does her husband have a job outside of helping his wife? Of all the ladies I watch, only 1 of the husbands has a career that does not involve editing or filming for his wife (RachLoves husband is a lawyer).

Yay for supportive husbands. I just bought the ND Retro palette (not the new one, the one that came out last year). I was happily swatching and playing and my husband was all, "You wanted that for a full year before buying it? Why? You love it so much." I told him it was kind of expensive and he just shrugged and told me that he sometimes spends that much on a single afternoon of golf and I wear makeup every day and deserve treats too. Marry the right one, ladies.

The fact that you can speak in depth and with so much excitement about each of the palettes you kept means you kept exactly the right amount of them for you!! It's obvious that they are not just collecting dust in your collection but truly serve as inspiration for your craft.

What I love about declutter videos isn’t the declutter itself but just seeing all the makeup and listening to the explanations of its quality or lack there of. Btw, you look radiant and your husband seems so sweet and supportive of you.

Unpopular opinion - seeing someone throw away all their makeup makes me sad, I LOVE watching declutter videos, but I actually like hearing people keep things haha! So don't feel bad for keeping almost everything! ❤

I just love your collection. DO NOT be sorry for having something you love. Makeup is basically your job and you love it. Watching you be so gleeful and happy about your makeup (skincare, haircare, etc) is so lovely and you make people happy.

I love this series. Probably you could do videos with items you really forgot or don't use them for years. We normal users have our pallets for years and probably get new inspired?

Right I would be keeping the limited editions!

With so many palettes, how do you (1) decide which palette to use and (2) remember what color story is in which palette? There’s no way I would remember! Love this declutter/show ‘n tell series. Long videos are NOT a problem, at least for me! The more content, the better, IMO. So go for it!! 😘💕

You did way better than I thought you would! Anyone who has watched you for any length of time knows your love of collecting makeup. Great job and hope all is well with the new baby.

Great series Allie, thanks for letting us live vicariously through you. I’d love to see a ‘roulette’ type series from you using the pallets you had forgotten or not used as much as you wanted. Randomly selecting one of the pallets , then making a look from them. I think it would be super fun.

Allie! Put all pallets with same or matching colors together, then shift down to the best. You’re not really getting rid of anything! But youre keep pallets with very similar colors . PLUS YOU GET PR YOU WILL BE DOING THIS AGAIN!!! Declutter and donate to those who would love it.

I have been a huge fan of your videos Allie, for years! And I have seen people request a declutter for quite some time. For some reason, I thought: she might not want to do a declutter, because I don't think she would want to get rid of much. And when you started posting these, I was slightly afraid for you, i didn't want you to get hate for it. It's so nice to read everyone being so supportive. So thanks Allie, for sharing, for loving makeup, for inspiring us. And thanks to everyone for keeping this such a nice community!

I think it's worth acknowledging that for you these palettes are tools for your work, and many were received for free. As a regular makeup consumer, even with a passion for eyeshadow, this amount of eyeshadow palettes would put me into debt and make no sense for me to own.

I hope that you'll do a video about all.of your drugstore pallettes. You might not have as many, but I've enjoyed seeing what you have...even if there isn't much decluttering happening. 😍

I love how enthusiastic you are about your makeup collection. I've seen so many declutters where people throw away things they love just to achieve an arbitrary goal of minimalism, so yours is such a breath of fresh air!

I *just* did a huge declutter of my eyeshadows. The easiest for me was tossing anything that had hit its expiry date. So that was pretty much all my Urban Decay palettes, including my OG naked palette. I was sad, but tbh it was so old that the texture was becoming crumbly and was starting to look terrible on my lid, so I was just keeping it around because it's discontinued. Expired eyeshadows do no one any favours lol. I now have five palettes left (two large, three small), which are newer and fresher, in formulas I know I absolutely love and will use.

I would personally LOVE to see you use your Natasha Denona palettes more! Specifically the glam and retro pallettes 😍

Allie, I really love how passionate you are about makeup ❤ I also love how your husband supports your interest :) I don't think anyone here would judge you because you don't declutter a lot. We are already here as we also enjoy makeup so much and we get that connection. I know that some people don't get our enthusiasm, but we really feel like we're in wonderland when we're playing with makeup. I am a student and I work part-time, so I don't have a lot of money but I still save and buy one product every once in a while. I keep them in one drawer I just love to play with them, show them to my friends, and create looks with them. I know I could not declutter a lot even if I had so many products (especially eyeshadows), cuz I really am inspired by just looking at them🤭. You are so good at your job because you love it so much. It is really joyful to see someone that has that passion and is here to share that with us. You are so sincere, and we just love you so much :) P.S.: Congrats on your new family member! You as a family are really the cutest😇

I’m a huge fan of Your decluttering style! I believe that many of us declutter the same way. Especially when it comes to our eyeshadow palettes, and I’ll make up in general. When you are a true lover and collector, it’s hard to do clutter the things that you love. Even if you’re not using it, it doesn’t mean that maybe you won’t or even if it is expired just to know that you had that gorgeous pallet in your collection. I would love to see you do another look with the naked HEAT palette. It’s my favourite owned pallete ( I don’t own many 😅) but specifically the last shade ‘Ember’… I don’t know how to incorporate it in a look. It’s always looks weird when I use it. Omg you could do little “capsules” and put together bins of different full faces using the foundations, palettes, etc that you want to revisit! Then you can do videos every so often with each bin and get use out of all of the products you wanted to be sure to either revisit or try! And you already will have a full face of make up set out for you (assuming you’re doing blush, bronzer, etc declutters!) ❤️
