Their creative direction is sooooo good. In my head I was thinking maybe doppelgängers or multiverse/converging timelines (or butterfly effect hence the butterflies on the album concept and belle’s butterfly tattoo) also this could explain how/why belle had a kiss of life poster in her room in countdown already before they became a group

@@2mygreeneyes they hide the name of future title tracks/albums in mvs as hints. for exemple a "born to be xx" graffiti in the shh mv at 1:18. theres quite a lot of movie posters in the sticky mv (3:25) so they could be hints towards future tracks

There's something about Julie that's new to the last few generations of Kpop. Until 2nd gen, you had idols comfortable with their sensuality, and being happy for it, not with the objective of alluring people, but just showing their true selves. Later, the scandals fueled by ""fans"" and shameful-media made idols more self-aware and constrained, so the sexy side was always something calculated and planned, almost unnatural. Julie is a comeback to idols just being sexy because she just is, and not because the creative team said so. And she's so happy and careless and just flowing with wholesomeness. People say they are "sexualizing" KIOF, but if you look closely, this a realistic summer concept, considering there are worst things like Waterbomb, so it's not even that wild. Catchy song and seeing Julie this happy make me happy, even if I'm a Belle bias.

all depends who watch...if female idol is watched by men...she is "sexualized" but not if female watch.....it's kinda double standards....i think Kiss of Life balancing on thin edge, they giving much, but still delivery great vocals, and not whole choreo is butt shaking, that good. Other famous le ssomething group did that wrong. But i hope KIOF will never cross a line.

KIOF, even if daring and sexy, doesn't seem to be acting in any bad faith, and that's something good because, as Coco said, there's a vibe that remind of SISTAR or older groups, like Miss A and After School.

The problem is the new generations always debuted minors, which made these concepts go extinct since 2nd to early 3rd gen. Finally a group like KIOF debuted adults and we get this concept back.

I literally discovered KIOF because of Belle due to her appearance in KODE and have become her stan because of her vocals but damn my eyes continuously went to Julie in this song. Everything about her expression was so fresh and natural, perfect for summer songs which is something I really missed in 2nd generation groups like After School, Miss A, Sistar, WJSN, Girls Day, etc. I only saw that of confidence and easiness in Hwasa a bit.

Finally, SISTAR’s daughters! Hyolyn said she’s a big fan of KIOF too so it just makes sense 😊

They filmed this literally next to my collage, every time I had studies I passed this place and I think that I walked there that day cause I heard some music playing but I was in a hurry to my exams. I feel so frustrated that I didn't put more attention so I could realise that I have kiss of life in front of me 😭😭 feels weird and honestly idk why they chose to dance specifically in front of the cinema (in polish it's kino) and the subway station, that's so random haha but I guess it's awesome to see Poland getting popular for kpop mvs, Sunmi and Enhypen also filmed their mv in Poland. Kiss Of Life is secretly a 2nd and 3rd gen group in disguise, but has the freshness of 5th gen groups. Their company is doing a freaking amazing job and I can't thank them enough. Kpop has been missing this mature sexy concept for a while now, so I'm more than happy to see Kiss Of Life bringing it back. This song is so good but it feels like only OG Kpop stans love it, while 4th and 5th gen stans hate it.
