The credits at the end are their top three tiers of Patreon supporters. When all of the venues in Branson and the surrounding area were shut down during the pandemic, they continued their performance schedule...on KZread. They produced music that was warm and encouraging for people trapped at home, and asked for support through Patreon to make more videos. They entered the pandemic with 50,000 KZread subscribers and no Patreon page. The exited the pandemic with half a million YT subscribers and a five figure monthly income on Patreon. Ellen, the banjo player, is their marketing director. She did a brilliant job of opening that door for new fans. The band members are some of the kindest people you could ever hope to meet. They spend time before and after their shows talking individually with their fans.

Big props for The Petersens in this review, including HUGE props for Emmet’s Dobro playing! Congratulations to all! I’m overjoyed with this review, and I’m just a local Branson fan!

The Petersons are one of those rare musical jewels one finds. Definitely do check out more of their songs. A lot of covers but also very talented originals.

You should listen to their version of Bohemian Rhapsody, sung LIVE. They use their own style but do not detract from the feelings of the original. It is so refreshing to hear live recordings of natural voives (with no auto-tune) and sympathetic instrumentation.

They do a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody that is astonishing -- a real tour de force! Also, their Take Me Home Country Road now has something like 46 million views. But their songbook is enormous! Thank you for your excellent reaction.

I'm glad you found the Petersens, Jeff! They are a family Bluegrass band from Branson MO. They have some great original material along with their covers. Check out "California" and "Moments" written by the band. Emmet Franz, the Dobro player IS a world class musician! He's probably the best slide player I've ever heard! I've been a fan for a few years now!

As a big Italian fan of The Petersens I can only thank you for the kind words you expressed towards them. I ask you to propose other "reactions" of their videos which are all truly fantastic. And, if I can give you one piece of advice, listen to their original songs. You can't help but be positively amazed by how beautiful they are.

I like the Petersens, even though they are a group whose concept is strange for an European. I especially love Julianne's voice, Emmett's style with the dobro, and Katie's playfulness. This song seems especially luminous to me. Hats off!!

Wow. Very good indeed!! 1:43 LOVE that little pause. That’s a tight group. Less then half a second stop before the second verse. Lovely touch 👌

I discovered the Petersens during the COVID lockdown and just love them. As others mentioned, they have many videos on KZread, most of them recorded live. They all have great voices. Emmitt on the dobro is amazing. They are all amazing musicians. Seeing them live in Branson is a special treat.

Wonderful. I think you implied that watching them was an important part of your enjoyment of the song. Totally agree. I just briefly visited their channel. 815K subscribers. Wow. They have a good version of "In My Room" from only 6 months ago. 278K views. Wow. Your audience is the best with their suggestions, Jeff.

If you want some serious dobro action from the Peteresens - check out "Thunder Ridge" from them, but Emmett shows up in everything they do.

So glad you discovered the Petersens! They are from my home state of Missouri, where they perform year round in Branson, Missouri as one of the most popular acts there. They also do concerts around the U.S., and last fall they performed in a few countries in Europe. All the kids have now graduated from college, and a couple of the girls even studied at Oxford for a semester! Katie, the lead singer on this song, has several great original songs you could check out. If someone doesn't like a particular song, all the sisters and their brother and even Emmett the dobro player each take turns as lead singer, so there are lots of different sounds depending on the song! Hope you get a chance to react to more of them. Take care.

Very nice version of Kiss Me! I have seen the Petersons on KZread and love hearing them. The slide guitar was a really nice touch. Another nice version of this song was performed by the band First to Eleven and you should check out First to Eleven's cover of Sweet Child of Mine!

This group has done a LOT of videos. I remember running across them about the same time I first found Leonid & Friends and Foxes & Fossils. Although I like their music it is just never grabbed me the way the other two groups have. I have no idea why.
