He was a big fan of the original band, the early stuff is probably his favorite.

Eric is one hell of a great singer, as well as a great drummer... I love this song, and it´s perfectly sung by him.

What an absurd comment. [Edited to add: I guess the comment to which I was referring has been removed.] Eric is the best singer in the band - and I say this as a lifelong devotee of Paul Stanley. Other of Paul's songs which he could easily sing are "I Stole Your Love", "King of the Night Time World", and "Hell or Hallelujah". Kiss should be making greater use of Eric's extraordinary talent.

I concur, unfortunately Paul's voice is evidently in distress lately, and Eric is a good "singer", it would be great for him to carry some of the vocals load. Would rather hear that than Paul lip syncing to a tape. Doubt Paul's ego would allow it, though.

@@davidcook4623 - First of all: yes, he did (along with other people). Secondly: who wrote the song is irrelevant, as I was referring to songs that Paul Stanley normally sings.

Ok I can officially say that eric and eric were the two best drummers in kiss, hands down, not even close, end of story.

I miss Peter too, but this sounds perfect. Eric is a perfect fill-in. As for ACE, you cannot replace him. I like Tommy a lot, But ACE is all vibe. You cannot fill with even Jimmy Page.

Eric is a great drummer and an excellent singer ( he better be, right?) but he’s playing Peter’s licks, singing “like” Peter, wearing Peter’s make-up and wearing a wig styled after Peter’s hair. It’s embarrassing. Same with Tommy, except for the wig. I would never argue that they don’t deserve to be in the band but c’mon, call it what it is: HalfKiss

True. But, when this was filmed, I just don’t think Pete could have played it. They were injecting him before concerts back in 2000 on tour because of physical issues. 10-12 years later… no way.

Yeah, he was only the drummer for a good 5 years after that supposedly happened, I’m sure two guys as greedy as Paul and Gene would be willing to risk their whole career on a guy who “can’t play drums”.
