Nice seeing them relaxed cos they’re not locked into a pyro/light programme/song list where everything is on cue. Although the end of the road tour was marred by lip syncing etc, I’m going to miss a live KISS show.

This is a real professional show.

It's a reissue Grabber. The Ripper had two pickups and the traditional Gibson "open book" headstock. I have a buddy who has all three Gibson basses from that period. A black Ripper with an ebony fretboard just like Gene's, a Grabber in cherry, and a G-3 in natural with a maple fretboard. The G-3 and the Grabber were the same, aside from pickups. The G-3 had 3 single coil pickups, where the Grabber had 1 sliding pickup.

Gibson reissued all 3 a few years back.

I liked the earlier versions of Watchin You where he and Paul would do it as a duet better.

was wondering how long before Paul would end up on the floor - ha! half-way into the first song! :-P seems to be his signature move in his old age

He has a bad hip. His sit and even lay down time during a show has consistently increased over the last 8 or so years.

@@hashysh13 Tommy plays better than Ace from a technical, clean hitting the right note standpoint. It's just a different style that Ace fans seem to hate. Ace has a looser more classic style and at this point in his career muffs much of his work but nobody seems to care.

Whoever got to see this is so freakin lucky.

I was Gene's spotlight on this cruse...and helped build the stage...KISS was my first concert..in 1978..yeah..I was in heaven...and glad to see this viedo...yes..I work for sixthman...

The encores for these shows were strange. Considering they didn't got for big hits/faves like DRC, Shout It Out Loud, Lick It Up etc for the encores it would have been great to see them dust off some stuff like Room Service, Two Timer, Strange Ways, Let Me Know or even Acrobat to finish these shows.

They should've done a theater tour with this setup. Just like the old days at the Stanley Theater in Pittsburgh in 1975.

I think he over does it with the wig. He could find one or even have one custom made that looked more realistic. The ones he's been wearing look fake/cartoonish.

Maybe because of the “small” size of venue it had to be limited as dry ice can displace oxygen quickly in the air around the dry ice, causing difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness and death. I’m no scientist and this is a guess. Remember this on a ship not a land based venue. Perhaps it’s a health and safety thing and they had to limit its use inside? 🤷 Although you can chill fog juice so it looks similar to dry ice (doesn’t last as long though). Probably why there’s no pyro either.

Why did you cut out Paul talking in between songs???

Aces guitar tech/ kiss cover band guitarist portraying The Space ACE?????? zero dignity, even less class, and a wanna be that should never sleep at night! Bless talented tribute bands that make almost nothing imitating their heroes. But to insult millions of fans who have spent countless years and dollars on a band that changed their lives to witness identity theft, classless comments, copycat moves, and fairly good attempts at music that a true star created????
