KISS is the band that got me hooked on rock music! I was probably 6 or so when my neighbor who lived above us in the apartment building introduced me to the band by bringing his kiss records over. He gave me a copy of his dynasty (vinyl only) which I still have today along with his writing he wrote on the label as a kid lol stuff like kiss is #1!

Awesome. !!! I think most people who got into KISS was from someone a little older , it’s always cool to hear the stories of how people got into them … with me, my older brother had KISS Alive on vinyl and then traded it with a friend for an 8 track so he could listen to it in his car …. I was so mad wen he did that because he gave the book away as well… lol I was a posses off 7yr old lol

Ahhh Kiss! one of those bands people seem to love or hate… not the biggest fan but respect the longevity and what they have done….takes me back my buddies and I had Dynasty blasting and we were all playing air guitar that is still my favorite album!

Sam!! Yeah man love them of hate them … The 70’s were my Kiss. 77-78 … Dynasty was a completely different band at that point. Peter was out , Ace was on his way out and then and got to “ Vegas”… I dig that album thou , everything on it … But at first listen I was like “ what the hell os this”? Lol. It then it grew on me after a few listens….

Hi Roland… 8yrs old. Lol cool. My first show was kiss in 77. And the. I’ve seen them every year after. … when ever they were in the NY/NJ area… I’ve met them separately over the years and then with Eric and Tommy in 2019. That was the last Kiss show I saw …

Cool video. Was at the Des Moines show and it's a great revisit. Audio is excellent for the period.

Yeah the audio is excellent … set list is cool as well. Seeing KISS back in the 70’s was amazing. I saw them Dec 15th at Madison square garden … I was in the 6th grade lol.

Superb video, nearly same story as you when i first came into this band, my brother come home with Alive 1 , i was 14 years and i was blown away, the best albums for me is the 6 first all classic...I have just been in 1 concert with them i think it was 07 in Oslo.😉

I agree KISS early albums (70’s era) are the best … that’s when KISS was KISS… I’ve seen KISS many times over the years starting in the late 70’s up until 2019 was my last kiss concert …

Hi Chris… I got the shirt from the store FYE… And it’s not that a don’t like “ Then she kissed me “I do like the song , The Beach Boys do it as well, the point I was trying to make is that with all the talent in the band as song writers , why put another cover song on one of their albums… Love Gun is such a great album , strong album … I just think they could have put a better song on it … Have a great week! 😎

Ace was killer, me and my girlfriend had a fucking blast! He almost did Rocket Ride twice, he started it a 2nd time in the set and caught himself "ah, shit...I just remembered we did that one already! I'm 72 years old, what are you gonna do?". Welcome. I haven’t been on here long. A few months. I love music , I’ve been in bands ( I’m a drummer) I’ve played in a shit load of clubs … and I have a bunch of albums .. I’ve seen a lot of utube guys on here. And a lot of they’re opinions i don’t agree with… I have my views on things and my take on music and bands comes from a different angle being a musician… I appreciate how a song is written , all the parts being played … and it drives me nuts when someone says … oh that band sucks or this song sucks. Why does it suck? And most people can’t answer it … Basically all i do is hit the record button on my phone and start talking … I don’t edit anything … whatever comes out of my mouth is just that…. Sometimes a screw up , say wrong stuff. But for the most part I’m honest in my opinions and I say what I mean … 🤘 And in the end it’s YOUR own personal opinion to your self that matters… screw everyone else .. if you like something and it makes you happy .. that’s all you need.. lol 😎

@louisborselio8608 yes your correct… The thing is , I wanted to make sure when I was doing that video for Kiss Alive 2 , and referring to kiss Alive they knew what I was talking about … just made it easier … A lot of people when they talk about the KISS Live albums they refer to them as KISS Alive I , KISS Alive II, KISS Alive III, KISS Alive IV, … we all know it’s not official called KISS Alive “ ONE” .. it’s just easier to say that when your talking about the other Live albums at the same time … 😎
