It is like a blank cheque to soothe your emotions. That's what Jazz does and nobody does it better than Kirk Whalum. Lalah Hathaway's voice and technique just perfect for this. I listened to this so many times I lost count.

Then Kurt released a gospel CD with Lalah in 2010, and a song on the project ended up winning a Grammy. In the end, Kurt paid the ultimate tribute to Donny Hathaway by featuring his daughter this gospel CD. Kurt’s desire to honor someone other than himself, though God’s music, finally earned him and Lalah music industry’s top prize.
