He is 85 years young.
I lived a few blocks from the University of Arizona campus. I walked my dog early but one morning I heard the ESPN was doing a pre-game U of A football gig. I got up at 2:00 a.m. and the campus was insane. All of a sudden I went from 68 to 20 years old and when these guys went live, five hours later, 7:00 a.m. it was like a rock concert. Corso and his mates are worth getting up early on Game Day, College Saturday.
Lee Corso and Lou Holtz, my favorite people for 30 years of college football. Corso is a treasure, and I'll miss him on CG.
