The day Lee Corso passes away will be one of the saddest days of my life.

The best part is the end. He hunts out Tom Jackson and once again embraces him. The relationship between a coach and a great team leader/player truly is something special.

When gameday came to Tuscaloosa for the LSU BAMA game, I had a chance to get on the gameday bus. Since I work for UA & AU & had to assist ESPN with some things they offered me to eat with them. At the time it was only Erin and Corso on the bus and what impressed me was, that the bus driver, Erin and everybody including Chris, Desmond & Kirk & Meyer called him COACH! I will never forget that moment.

Such a lovable, genuine man!

Lee Corso! A legend and an honor to watch on gameday! Great man!

I'm ashamed now that at first I wasn't that big a Lee Corso fan. That's all changed.

Corso is awesome. Hes like your grandpa crazy at times but he knows what hes talking about. the only thing i dont like is evertime he picks nebraska we get beat

@masterfrywad01 Pretty sure he has had multiple strokes. Like him or hate him on Gameday you can not deny his passion.

Can someone rip that thing from the ESPN back to school thing that actually had his highlights? Looked to me like dude was killing the Big Ten with his speed haha.

@wildcats8042 He had a stroke in May, but I am not sure what else has happened.

The only thing that would've made his speech better is if he pulled out a Lee Corso mascot head and put it on at the end.

I hope he keeps picking against the Sooners we are like 14 and 2 when he picks against us.

Best thing about Lee Corso is when his rental car burst into flames in 2000 in Blacksburg when it was hit by lightning minutes before kickoff of the ill-fated Georgia Tech-Virginia Tech game. Just too bad he wasn't in the car.
