Is it arthritis? Or from doing hundreds of shows almost every year since 83’? I know he’s vegan he looks incredible for his age very healthy but I didn’t know that either

I was standing right at the barrier at the stage. His troubles with his knee were only noticeable during the first three songs. Later on he seemed fine, even during the rain. And the second show on Sunday was all good, too. He didn't mention it during Ross Halfins book signing either, so I guess he's fine :)

Okay, that's not good. :| I'd imagine he's looking at some sort of an operation on that knee at some point. At the very least a knee support. Age. :/

Not necessarily age related - I’ve had knee problems at a young age, and it actually went away over time ( mostly). Probably bad posture, movements and muscle - even though it can become worse over time if not remedied

Mmm, I believe you've experienced some sort of erosion in your knee there, perhaps beginnings of athrosis. Happens to everybody eventually to some degree but it can be dormant for a looooooooong time. Kirk hasn't displayed these problems before this tour so I'd say wear and tear associated with age is a good guess even though Kirk is a pretty fit guy.

This shit can happen. When I was in my 30s I went to see a Danny Elfman show and my fucking knee got sore and lost all strength in my knee at the show. It was a shitshow and I could barely walk.

Again? Damn that sucks. I like Kirk i dont think hes an amazing guitar player but hes alright. Hes likeable and positive

I thought Kirk was going to get that knee taken care of over the break...God knows I would... Knee replacements take a while to heal.. but for the love of Cliff Burton if you need it, get it!

I understand it was no big deal. It happens, especially when people are advancing in years. All those aches and pains, passes eventually, tilll the next time, ha!
