TheAdamantGamer PC Not exactly. I play both bass and guitar, and from experience I can say its pretty different. If the song is just power chords then the bass line will be the first note of the power chords, as there isn't much to work with, but say something like the four horsemen where the bass line is really diverse compared to the guitar riff, its much more harder to figure out the bass part. But yeah Am I evil has a pretty easy bass line.

I play both bass and guitar. Thing is the notes on a bass and a guitar are the same. Therefore, if you know what the notes on the guitar is called, and where they are, then you know it on bass as well. This means that it's not very hard for a professional guitarist to play the bass just about decent.

Metallica and Kirk in their prime. Anybody who says Kirk can't hold his own shredding with the best of em just don't know. His solos are mostly melodic and easy to play in context of the song, not to show how fast he can play.

Guys I know all this but they mainly used esp and gibson. This is the first video I personally have seen where he wasn't playing either of those. And I have never seen them play jacksons. Maybe before they were famous

The most influential guitar player on par with EVH, Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Jimmy Page and other great guitarists. Kirk may not be the most skilled of all but he sure as shit made hundreds of thousands of people start playing guitar

It was this scene that made me want to play Ibanez guitars. I loved the sharp cutaways and I always thought the headstock looked like a knife at the end of the guitar.

Look up 'how to do dimebag squeals' on youtube. Its easy, but it requires a floyd rose wammy bar. Basically, strum the open g string for example and push the wammy down and then on the way up, put your finger on a g string harmonic as if youre trying to catch it on the way up. When harmonic is achieved, proceed to pull the shit out of the wammy bar to make your guitar scream
