@@costonbaymon6000 ok, but when he wrote those songs, he admitted that he was battling with a porn addiction, running women and cursing but because he didn't(or can't)dance to those songs, we say he was anointed then and not now? I'm a musician and being a musician, I can tell you that 90% of our favorite gospel or traditional songs have a heavy blues influence(Google Thomas Dorsey, the Kirk Franklin of his day). Back in the early 1900's, they wouldn't allow an organ to be played in the church because they said it was the "devil's pipes". The songs we say are "old school", if you sung them back in the day, you would've been criticized just like you're doing Kirk Franklin now! It wasn't until the late 70's that some churches allowed drums to be apart of every service. So when you make statements like this, you leave so much on the table that should be looked at. God is looking on this man's heart, not his dance moves(1Sam16:7). If Kirk's dancing is so much of an issue with God, he should have stopped David from dancing out of his clothes in public(2Sam6:14-22)✌

I had the pleasure of seeing Kirk Franklin about 15 years ago in Baton Rouge La and I can tell you he is truly an amazing talent that introduces Jesus well

To everyone that is involved in worship...musicians, production, camera ops...don't ever think that you are simply doing a job. You are creating an atmosphere for GOD to move...for him to reveal himself in the hearts of those who are truly open and need him the most. GOD is doing the rest...he just wants US to roll out the red carpet for him...to exalt him....to be a conduit for him to work. Great job to all!

I initially had a problem with the dancing and facial expressions, but then I remember a video I saw of three young men (sagging) helping a 100 year old man and his wife into their car and I think don’t judge what you see, judge the actions of the individual. Kirk Franklin is praising God and reaching the masses with his music. If you like it the message will stay in your head, if you don’t like it, the catchy chorus and sub chorus will stay in your head. So either way, you’ve received the message. Praise God!

I guess only God would appreciate a song sung to Him in Truth and sincerity, but we feel we have to right to ajudge what is acceptable worship with our human wisdom and knowledge. 'This can only be an exercise in futility because my sister, God needs no personal assistant, He is omnipresent and all sufficient and has infinite wisdom 1st Cor 2:11. Lots of Hymns have no word Jesus mentioned too but we sing them hoping that God would hear us out and honour us with His presence.

I just think it's funny how everyone said I'm "idolizing" Kirk but never mentioned how Jesus was condemned the same way. You all are proving my point😂😂There is a difference between false prophets and those who are trying to reach the lost.
