I love how they brought a few Star Allies abilities to Dedede and Meta Knight, it just makes them more unique rather than just permanently having Sword or Hammer Hope we get Dededetour and Metaknightmare in a future game with these changes

Dedede's -inhale- design does not -copy your opponents- need to be changed because Dedede is already perfect.

It’s been years but I will still never forgive the new dedede design

With every Kirby game, dedede looks just a touch different lmao

I have a soft spot for all the original animations.

Tbh the slower spear helicopter spinning feels a little bit, off. Not sure why they simplified it that much. But Meta Knight's counterattack is quite interesting. Wonder if it's done on blocking or if a input is made when blocking.

None of that is actually new. They took it from the Star Allies updated movesets for Meta Knight, Dedede, and Bandana Dee. And the counter is done while not blocking, it's just down+B and anyone that hits you in that window gets a counter attack (again, like in Star Allies). It is basically like the B-down counters that some fighters use in Smash.

デデデでなんかタイミングよくやったら透明ハンマーできた気がする

Sucks we were never given an option to play as Kirby’s companions in any of the campaign modes not counting arena. A guest star allies-styled extra mode specially fitted for all three characters would do wonders.

@@HappyXID I’ll give the FE characters an exception for counters because it represents their gameplay and origins of being from a strategy RPG game, counter moves are very reliant on strategy and knowing when your opponent will strike. Other fighters however I feel like the move was placed in due to convenience for the developers.

Things I don't like about the remake: The speed of Waddle Dees Spear looks horrible, now it's even less believable he's flying with it. King Dedede's design looks like a mutated club penguin. The new power ups they added are too overpowered. The outline is atrocious, low res, and inconsistent. Things I like about the remake: The Magalor Epilogue. You can swim diagonally. The new color palette looks very pleasing. The entirety of Mago Land including all the masks. The new moves added to the power ups. Overall despite some flaws I think KRTDLD is up there as one of the best re-releases Nintendo has put out this gen, right next to 3D World + Bowsers Fury.

I kind of miss the old Meta Knight design. The new one is cooler, but the old one gave me the vibe of someone who’s trying to look cool but still looks cute anyway, which I enjoyed a lot

Since storyboarding, character design, level design, animations, etc, are already done, more or less, remasters/Remakes should not cost full price. Metroid Prime Remaster is like $20 cheaper than a full retail game and I found that to be a fair price.

I like the one on the right side. It's quite pretty.

やっぱWiiのデデデ大王よな 表情がわかりやすくて可愛いとかっこいいのいいとこ取りの完璧なデザイン

どうせなら、1pも 好きなキャラ使えるようにして欲しかった （世界観壊れる？と思うけど 全プレイヤーが 　同じキャラ使えるようにして欲しかった）

操作はwiiと同じ。全てのキャラクターがリニューアルされてる。

when the fuck are they gonna give bandana waddle dee his own proper moves hes just a clone of spear so why would anybody wanna play as him if you can be a player 2 kirby with more copy abilities??? Also where is dededes hammer beam attack from triple deluxe that was a super fun move but it has not made a return since. Im upset bandana waddle dee is not being treated better like why is he always the same

@@fin-- Example is the Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga series when they got Paper Mario into the scene. And the M&L remakes themselves. They like to make itty bitty harmless changes that people tense up upon noticing. ;P (Still a nice game tho.)
