Kirby takes on King Dedede to reclaim the Star Rod leading to the final battle against the Nightmare for the future of Dreamland!
King Dedede - Avoid Dedede's jumping and hammer attacks followed by inhaling and firing back the stars that are left behind at the bloated blowhard!
The Nightmare - The final battle consists of 2 phases, both of which are done in a horizontal shooter type style. The first phase has Kirby fully airborne as you move the full height of the screen firing the Star Rod at the erratically moving sphere of darkness! The second phase has Kirby on the surface of a full moon fighting the fully revealed Nightmare. The Nightmare has several methods of attack most of which expose the glowing weak point hidden underneath his cape. Wait for your chance and aim carefully!!
