in my view the entire film industry should be ashmed of themselves and not caring about the renowned artists and are not helping them in their miseries.the film world is all about false prestige and will care when the artists in shiny day. for example sri sivarao and girija.

గిరిజ గారు 1996 లో చనిపోయారు నాకు బాగా గుర్తు వుంది ... ఆ సంవత్సరం NTR చనిపొయారు .. ఆ తరువాత గిరిజ గారు , ప్రభాకర రెడ్డి గారు , సూర్యకాంతం గారు అదే సంవత్సరం మనకు దూరం అయ్యారు ...కస్తూరి శివ రావు గారు , మరియు గిరిజ గారి జీవితాల గురించి వింటూ వుంటే నాకు బాధ కన్నా .. వారు అటువంటి దుర్భర స్తితిలో వున్నా పట్టించుకోని సాటి నటీ నటుల మీద కోపం వస్తొంది ... Yes.. కనీసం వాళ్ళు తీసుకున్న రెమ్యునరేషన్స్ అయినా వెనక్కి ఇచ్చేసి ఉంటే వాళ్ళకి ఎంతో కొంత ఉపయోగపడేది. అలాంటి ఆలోచనలు కూడా వాళ్ళకి వచ్చేవి కావేమో. అప్పటి తో పోల్చుకుంటే ఇప్పటి తరం నటీనటులు కొంచెం సేవా కార్యక్రమాలని, ఆపద లో ఉన్నవారిని ఆదుకోవాలనే ఆలోచన చేస్తున్నారని అనిపిస్తుంది. ANR, నాగార్జున , వెంకటేష్, వీళ్ళు ఎప్పుడూ ఎవరికి సహాయం చేసిన దాఖలాలు లేవు. అంతటి carona time లో కూడా ఏమీ చేయలేడు. వీళ్ళు లెజెండ్స్?

Thanks for such biographies.. These actors entertained us with their acting talents. I pay my respects to them. Yes yet times I wonder-what happened to them. k siva rao lost out everythng with his paramanadayya sishyulu.flop film but good music by s dakshina murthy.he had a big building in vijayawada which housed hias premier film distribution company.this also he lost out.in his final stages to meet both ends he was last seen selling bed sheets and other goods on railway platforms. this was what i read in those days.unfortunate.

నేను 4 ఏళ్ళు ఉన్నప్పుడు మద్రాస్ లోని మైలాపూర్ లో వున్న కాపాళీశ్వరస్వామి గుడి లో చూ సాను. దైవ దర్శనం కొసం మాతో నుంచున్నారు వరుసలో. మేము కె.రఘురామయ్యా గారి తో కలసి వుండే వారం. అలా వారి తో మఫ్యామిలీ పరిచయం. మీరు చెప్పిన వివరాల నుబట్టి బహుశా పరమనందయ్య శిష్యులు సినిమా ఆ సమయంలో అని అనిపిస్తుంది.

I think Girija garu passed away in 1995 or 1998. It was reported in "The Hindu" daily Hyderabad edition. I remember reading that news column. Very nice actress Girija garu. Very impressive narration Kiran Prabha Garu.

Very sad stories, indeed. I didn't even know that Girija garu isn't alive until i heard this . Kiranprabha garu, the way you narrated has more humanity than the way film industry collectively helped, at least recognized their own artist. In Aradhana movie, I liked Relangi - Girija combination better than anything, because they were shown more realistic than Savitri - ANR roles (that accident they showed where ANR lost his eyesight is laughable, for example). The thing about it was, in the recent movie mahanati - at the end I wish they showed a shraddhanjali to all these actors that met with the same fate as Savitri with movie production, would have shown producers' respect for the field.
