I first bought a Fingercomber unit.... it was a total waste of money. I'm a Toni Daly wig fan. And I wondered about this wig in particular because I recently received an email with a discount code from them, and looked at this one. Thanks for the honest and thoughtful review! You and me both! We start getting past a certain dollar amount and my expectations for a wig get REAL. I'm on a budget and, while I know they can't all be tens, I need to feel like what I purchased was well worth the price and I just can't say that with this unit. The Toni Wig...that's my heart! I'm so glad this review helped!

+504 PrettyThings I LOVE the Toni Wig! Seriously and no joke! That wig truly changed the game for me. I have straight "Ceily from the color purple" hair and, if I twist my own hair in the front, it blends BEAUTIFULLY with the wig. AND IT LASTS...even the one I have that I manipulate still looks good...it washes beautifully!

I think I watched the SAME review you did, was blown away by the look and "ease" of styling and felt good about picking it up...😐 Not happy with ANYTHING about this unit...too pricey not to be honest. Thank you for confirming!

I have several units from Fingercomber and Toni Daley. Fingercomber's customer service needs lots of work, shipping takes forever and their units are okay. I prefer Toni Daley's products and customer service much better; and shipping is time efficient despite being based in Toranto Canada.

Thank you for this video. I've been on the fence about purchasing a fingercomber wig. I have now watched enough reviews on several different types of fingercomber units where I feel I can make an informed decision. And for me that answer will be a no. There have been to many different reviews on different units with the same issues.

The Alice Rose Experience I was the same way when I was trying to decide...wanted to support but the price tag is up there so I definately wanted to make an informed decision. Alas I bit the bullet but was very disappointed in the results. Shining light at the end of the tunnel: I can at least share my experience with others so they can have a bit more info in their arsenal before purchasing!

To my understanding curlier units require more maintenance if you want it to last due to the texture, matting, tangles, etc. But this looks bomb on you. Love it.

Rainn Fox They can definitely tangle, I agree with that. I normally wear big curly units and find them much more low maintenance than straight wigs...just throw on, fluff, and go. But I'm sure it all comes down to preference though. Thanks for the compliment!

Very welcome! I believe I got this from goodwill. On of those times when I really racked up :)

I spent $100 on a fingercombee. Worse investment ever. A dolls head has better construction. Your right! Ended up never wearing it. Infact the only thing wearing it is my closet! This company is a rip off. Poor construction for all the money there asking. No one should have to put that much work into a wig unless washing it.

I agree! The construction was so disappointing...especially for the price and how long it took me to get it! Takes away from the point of a synthetic wig (throw on and go)! If I want to do that much work I will wear my natural hair out!

Wow! Glad I saw this review, don't think I will order from them, too MANY negative reviews. I have a Toni Daley wig and I love it!!!!! I am going to order another plus her customer service is on the money!!! That wig reminds me of the TonyXl so I will be ordering that. Neecy Watson It just wasn't a good experience at all. I love my Toni Wig (I have 2) and I will definitely grab the Toni XL as well! I plan on grabbing the Pillowsoft fro from Fingercomber...just to be fair (but mostly cuz I have a coupon). I will most definitely post a review once I get my hands on it! And you are very welcome!

I agree I wish I would’ve done my research this is crazy shipping time. I really hope it’s worth it smh now I’m spending extra to get another wig I ordered 12/12 it won’t be here until after 1/12 definitely will be searching for another company I’m sure there’s something out there with better shipping

I purchased the cocoon unit last week. I rushed it. It arrived in two days which was good but the quality of the wig was not good. It looked nothing like the model card. it was very thin and long.

Another one with low quality huh...these units are much too pricey (in this diva's book anyway) for the quality to be so/so or lower. I can't get down with that. But I guess it's good to know that if you choose the rush option (for an additional fee) the shipping time will be much quicker than what my experience was (we're talking over a month here). Thank you for sharing!

Very welcome and thank you for taking the time to comment!I get them from anywhere I find them at my scarf budget (I don't like to go past $1-2 but I'll go up to $5 if I can convince myself it's worth it), Old Navy, Forever 21, Target, Walmart...mostly online but some in store. I also ALWAYS get them as gifts (birthday, Christmas, Mother's Day)...my family knows the way to my heart is through scarves and makeup :)

Had the same experience. The shipping took way past the time frame they advised it would and then when I finally got tired and decided to email just to find out the status, suddenly I immediately received a tracking number. Huge and sparse is an accurate description I'm still trying to figure out how to work it. Might just sell it

That is EXACTLY what happened to me...exactly! And to go thru all that and then receive what I received was a huge let down, it really was. I'm going to try them again because they are blacked own (#tryingtosupportasista) and I did get a coupon for my next order, but I'm definitely going in with eyes wide open. Ok after watching a ton of videos and reading some horrendous reviews I am officially letting go of my fingercomber dream BUT what else is there that is like this. I have never worn a wig (no comments pls) but I was actually really excited about the possibility of a unit that looked like this and was not so heavy. Any suggestions? Please help ! THanks

Tiffany Johnson No judgement from this corner...PROMISE! You can find this style from alot of other brands...in fact, Toni Daley has the Toni XL which is very similar to this (I can't vouch for the weight but all of her other wigs are quite light weight it would be hard to imagine that one being different). Wigs have come such a long way...sky's the limit in styles, textures, lengths, prices...there's something out there for everyone...promise!

So I received my Toni Daley unit and you were absolutely right.... IN LOVE WITH IT!!!!!! Ihave already purchased a second unit and cannot wait for my growth journey to begin. It came in about 10 days to Philiadelphia and I was so pkeased. Definitely recommend!

Tiffany Johnson That is EXACTLY what I did! Once you get it it you immediately want a backup! If I may be so bold...keep one in it's natural state (clip here and there for shape and finger fluff just a bit) then use the other for versatility (ponytails, updos, frohawks, etc). That way you always have one for your fro days and then another to have fun with! I'm so glad you love it (I knew you would though)! It's amazing how a wig can make you feel good and excited about your own natural hair, am I right?!

It took a long time for me and it wasn't well made. Not worth the time and money.
