I would gladly go back to that time at my age. I'd give up cell phones and social media because I think it's done much more harm than good. I miss Hill's, The Kingsport Mall, and back when the Fort Henry Mall had stores worth going in. That was a better time in a lot of ways.

As a child, that was my favorite restaurant and I mourn every day that it's gone.

Thanks for the memories!! This is wonderful and brings back so many memories of a very different Kingsport. I loved this trip down memory lane and look at the condition of those roads!

I was at that carnival, shopped at Hills, went to the Martin Twin; unsettling how everyday life somehow becomes history.

I live in Kingsport! This is so cool. I would have been 5. I also grew up in Gate City and Kingsport! This is great!
