You went in on this one. Well done!👌
It turns out that having the best player in the matchup means you can just win the decisive game. As Lebron said: “How do you stop him? The same way you stop me-you don’t.”

18:03 the warriors « experimenting » while down 0-2 is crazy! Great video. I’m INVESTED!
Other than having to relive the sadness of the memory of that barrage of offensive rebounds, this was an excellent video. Basketball analysis on tv is mostly dumb regurgitating of narratives so it was great to see the brilliance on display in detail. Small nitpick though is that you referred to Terrence Davis as not a shooter when he's actually only a scorer. That's why it was so surprising he guarded Steph so often in Game 7 because he's debatably a worse guard defender that Malik Monk. That was the only decision Mike Brown made that had me scratching my head.
@electropyro1899
9 ай бұрын
the length of the series probably played a role because (in perhaps not surprising but very impressive fashion) Curry's initial matchup in Davion Mitchell was probably too spent to hang with Curry in game 7, the only reason Brown didn't throw him out there. Well maybe save for Davis doing well in game 6. Goes to show how much better conditioned Steph Curry is compared to just about everyone in the league. We saw a similar tale 8 years ago with Matthew Dellavedova. To think he's still doing this to defenders still without many signs of slowing down is astonishing.
@electropyro1899
9 ай бұрын
and maybe this is oversimplifying it, but I think Davis guarded Steph so much to make sure the other guys had the energy to try and keep up with Steph's onslaught on the other end. But obviously game 7 was decided by the offensive glass. What a series man, imagine what a rematch would look like
This was a fantastic series. I knew Mike Brown would be a problem. Experience is the only reason we won that series. Kings will DEFINITELY be a problem this season. And for good reason!💯💯

Absolute great video from start to finish. The in depth breakdown from each game as well as how each team countered then how they tried to counter the counter was just amazing. Can definitely tell you put alot into this video. GREAT QUALITY WORK!!
I was really hoping for someone to make a massive analysis on this series, and here it is. Thank you!
I’m so exited for this video! Haven’t watched it yet, but before the series I broke it down myself as to how strategic of a series it was going to be. Your videos never disappoint. I am so ready for this.

He is but this series doesn't show it as much, you don't coach a superstar dropping 50 points to save your season, Steph's just that good and determined.

@@kennn30 yes at the end of the day Steph was really the only advantage they had though. the team had awful chemistry and was totally undersized in the backcourt. one thing he did was have them set the screen a lot higher so Steph could have more time and space against the defense. way high

@@kennn30 Klay AND Poole were trash. Nothing Kerr or Curry could do about those two.
@kennn30
9 ай бұрын
@@binary I give Poole a bit more of a pass because of the punch and inexperience. Klay on the other hand has been in those types of situations numerous times in his career and was missing open threes.
What pisses me off is when draymond limits himself offensively he could destroy any defense trying to overly defend steph and klay he’s actually a dog offensively but after kd came and left he lost all offensive confidence because he never had to score when they had kd steph and klay hell it’s so annoying when he passes open shots cause he can actually shoot
That man Barnes saw that 3-1 lead incoming and said "nope not again... **CLANK**"
Man, this is a really great video, thank you Daniel!
