Recording contract could be a career death sentence for him. The way record deals are set up are atrocious for the artists from what I've heard. I would say youtube is helping him alot.

Go for X-Factor , the Voice hasn't made not ONE star out of it. Useless show. They don't care about the talent, just ratings. Such shame, your voice is surreal, you should be all over the radio! So much deserved! Good luck!
