Thanks for posting. I remember the Indian sky burials and live train robbers; both scared the crap outta me. But I was really disappointed the year the train robbers didn't attack.
A coworker and I walked down the tracks to the house in the fort when we worked on Whitewater Canyon in the 90s. The house was dilapidated back then, I can only imagine what a wreck it is now. There were old cases of beer from the 70s strewn about. Somebody partied in there. You could climb the towers on the fort but the platforms were covered in raccoon poop. If you look down from the Eiffel Tower towards the fort you can just see the house's roof.
As a 15 year old Railfan I love these little American Type steamers and I had the pleasure just a few weeks ago to ride behind #19 and it’s Nathan 6 Chime was amazing long live the KI&MV RR✌️🤘🤟
Brings back lots of memories as a kid! I remember the Actors.
PC? Whatever! This train was the koolest ride in 75! With the cowboys and Indians hiding in the woods fighting!I was 4 and I'll never forget it.Thanks for sharing, hope you are well God loves you deeply shalom 🤗🐼♥️✝️💐 Philippians 4:8
Nice video! Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s I always had a special affection for the K.I. & M.V. R.R. because the propane burners in the engines were built by the company that my father worked for, Maxon Corporation in Muncie, Indiana.
I loved this ride as a kid!

Good job, Ty!
THEY NEED TO FIX IT UP CLEAN IT UP, IT WAS COOL BACK IN THE 70''S
Good video!
They need to bring the western seenery back like it was back in the 70's the train ride was worth riding then I rode the train in 2015 and I was very disappointed
Wonderful....
Fabulous ☺
Great ride history! Lots of Non -Disney parks tend to remove or convert these old "puffers" into gas-hydraulic (crap) Also the PC scenes tend to get removed. The 1970's theme park trend was NOT to completely circle the park and have it travel into the woods.

Thanks for the comment! We're very fortunate Kings Island still has its original steam trains and has maintained them as well as they have.

@@KingsIslandHistory Too bad the same can’t be said for the antique cars. (Though they’re new incarnation does seem nice, they can’t replace what Paramount took away). On the other hand, Kings Dominion still has their original antique cars, but have never replaced their railroad.
Me and my boyfriend lives almost right down the street from the Golden Lamb Inn. It's one of the most haunted buildings in the Goshen, Loveland areas of Ohio.
I wanna know what are the whistles on the locomotives?
If I had about 3 million dollars I would build something similar but instead of having new engines built, I would buy one or two antique ones.
The RR should bring back the old Cowboy and Indian gunfight simulators
