It's open year round now! I get my season passes every year. I've been coming to this park my whole life. I really miss some of the old rides like King Cobra and Diamond Falls. I miss the safari ride and the monorail that used to take you to the opposite side of the park.

Great video! I’ll be going here sometime in September!

Grizzly is one of the best wooden coasters ever! In the trees and fast. I remember there used to be a car that had a message written on it that said "this car has a voodoo curse" such a fun ride

That thing is a death trap waiting to happen. It's the oldest ride in the park. That ride is super fast and shaky. I lost my glasses on that ride. I forgot to take them off and i put them down my shirt. I knew better, knowing that ride throw you from side to side. I saw them fly out my shirt. Meanwhile I'm death holding the bar with a death grip. I'm still mad about that. That happened about 4 years ago. Clearly you can tell I'm a bit bitter lol. We go to the park at least twice a week and my kids always say "let's get on the Grizzly" I roll my eyes everytime.

Here's a cool story. I drive and deliver stone for a company and 2 years ago. kings dominion ordered a few loads of top soil, and a few loads of red gravel rock from us. So I was driving a full size 20 ton dump truck through the park. It was awesome, no one was there because park wasn't open for season yet. Driving through there was neat for sure. (Instead of walking like I'm used to from being a customer). 😂😂 true story. 👍

Thanks so much for supporting our channel... we do as time permits... unfortunately I can't record on roller coaster legally. But I'm getting old so don't ride like I use too. But love love going to amusement parks 👍👍

You will have a blast... this time of year lines should be very light. Weekends may be a little busier.

It's been at least 35 years since I've been there - I remember when it used to be Lion Country Safari, and you could drive your car through. I wish I had a dollar for every time I rode the Rebel Yell.
