The appreciation he has for you and what you have done in regards to his/their products is genuinely heartwarming. EVGA has always been #1 for me when it came to quality of product, and their dedication to get the most out of their GPU’s and Motherboards was always so admirable. I hope that Kingpin is happy wherever he ends up, and with whatever he ends up doing. Such an awesome dude, and an absolute legend!

Not only the quality of the product themselves but also the quality of the service that came with it. Really sad to see them go (potentially forever from all markets), but I really respect their decision to move away from Nvidia. Wish they had gone AMD (don't think them going intel would have helped them nearly as much but would have done a lot for intel arc sales).

That's really cool of Kingpin to do for you. Also, you're not a "walmart greeter", you're better than that. More like an intro to mid level professor (what you show at least, personal opinion is I think you're holding back) and don't mean that in a demeaning way. Your videos are enjoyable to watch and the enthusiasm from a hobbiest perspective shines through. When you want to be more serious about topics, it does show and think you downplay yourself a bit. You and your team are definitely capable of upping your video/information game. The way you try to break down information and not treat people like they're idiotic go a long way when teaching. You're all good people regardless any silliness that may occur and are willing to admit to any mistakes that may happen, which is fantastic. Keep doing what y'all do so we can have more people enjoying doing what we do. We gotta support each other (even with constructive criticism as much it can hurt at times) to build ourselves up as a community.

Might not even be an illusion. Jay should hook up a multimeter to it in continuity mode and see. It wouldnt be hard to make that fully functional.. just possibly a problem causer if something touches it shorting it out.

7:21 No, actually if you look close when he flips it, it appears to actually be connected. Cool either way but much cooler if it does carry board power through it.

Yeah man you def deserve it more than anyone else. Awesome thx for sharing. EVGA not making GPUs anymore is why I haven’t built a new rig. Sticking with my 3080ti hydro. Love it.

Interesting to see the bare PCBs. Though I expected the never before seen card to be like a 750Ti Kingpin or something like that.

Speaking of EVGA I hope they relase the latest AGESA for X570 boards like we are at 1.09. Since they are apparently working on a support for the Raptor Lake refresh on z690/z790 mobos I hope they give final love to X570 owners too. I thought the bios team already packed their bags but apparently not yet completely.

I miss full copper, my first PC was the only one to have a full copper CPU heatsink, a thermalright XP90C. After that was the first thermalpipe direct touch(aluminum spacing each pipe, and aluminum fins) by some off unusual brand before that set off that whole trend.

I wonder how difficult it would be for EVGA to become a standalone gpu manufacturer/seller (basically a 4th competitor in the market). Would be crazy if they one day show up at computex with their own gpu's.
