Since you have 2 heroes so remove them is necessary for balance.

Yeah now we have two hero spells. So the additional hero spell replaces the rain of fire/soul impact ability. I’m excited about it honestly

They most likely thought that Rain of Fire would be very unbalanced next to 2 heroic specials, and they are right, but I think this should not even be a problem. Increase the statistics such as enemy health damage and the number of enemies per wave of each level, and the only thing the game gains is: a better, more tactical experience.

At first I was worried that the level location and design was going to be nothing fresh, but seeing the OG Kingdom Rush stages become altered and invaded by the Overseer's influence was a good move. It really establishes the antagonist's major presence and how it's affecting the world.

Cool. I hope the tower locations won't be as sparse as that in KRV, so that there will be more potential for synergies.

As you can see the overseer contaminated liniraen land, that means that he literally took over and "ate" all these old places...

Kinda bummed that we are still using rehashed stage themes for at least 3 games. At least Vengeance had some level of an excuse, but we are back to playing "green hill" for the 4th time. I appreciate Frontiers even more now.

Really love the Ironhide games art style, and so many others do as well judging by how many studios have attempted look-alikes.

Hmm, only the third biome looks unique. That's a shame. But I'm sure there'll be more variety in the additional stages that will be released over the next year or two. There should be plenty if Vengeance is anything to go by.

The last terrain enemies look like the aliens from kingdom rush frontiers 😳

Games need to renew themselves to continue growing. they won't make the same game with the same hero and map design.
