Kingdom of Heaven - Ibelin (hammered dulcimer cover)
Музыка
Hammered dulcimer cover of “Ibelin” from the movie Kingdom Of Heaven, composed by Harry Gregson-Williams.
Edit: This tune is commonly associated with Ramadan, but Kingdom Of Heaven is actually where it is originally from and it has since been used with MBC’s Ramadan show, thus leading to the association. It is a gorgeous tune anyhow!

Hello, I am Taiwanese. I have been deeply affected by emotions recently and am not happy. However, the songs you play can heal my hard-working body. I hope you can continue to play and purify more people. Thank you very much.

Ibelin is probably my favorite song of all film soundtracks, and this cover is amazing. Thank you.
It's astonishing how music can make you travel with emotions and truly with your whole being. Thanks for the great vibrations, the expression you craft within this instrument is humanly beautiful.
You just popped on my Instagram reels 2s ago LOL and I immediately rushed to KZread to listen to it, it's so ethereal and breathtaking ✨

This is probably one of the most underrated movies of all time, with a soundtrack played beautifully by an underrated channel. Here's hoping more people find you!
思わず聞き入ってしまいました。 ケルトの楽器、音がきれいです✨
One of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.
I was shocked when I first found out about this instrument, How can something sound that heavenly
I dig the Lego fort in the background. And that music... is just so damn soothing to me.
The instrument fits the music so well! This is extremely satisfying to watch. Great job!

To me it's the first time I'm really disgusted by the sound of an instrument. The dulcimer is not for me, I can tell :D Nevertheless, the performance was absolutely stunning.

Absolutely marvelous, the instrument and melody are so relaxing and inspiring! Congrats ❤
Fascinating instrument! It's the first time I actually see what it looks like although I've heard it many times unknowingly through movie soundtracks and what not. I'm starting to wish I had one to play around with...
great choices of songs / movies n games etc
it's touching to soul. Thank you.
Truly amazing how you push the limits of the dulcimer! I've just taken it up again, and your playing is an inspiration. I play mostly trad Irish, and your settings of these are some of the best out there.
New Evan videos make my day. Keep it up!

17 years ago I saw a man playing a dulcimer at the renaissance fair. Every year afterwards it was always one of my favorite things to come back to.

So good as always! I love the little trills! Found you at last ! Colorado! Well 2 weeks ago I went to a free concert of an Israelian playing this instrument, Baroque music, in the centre of France in a teeny church on the side of an extinct volcano. Only 2 people already knew the instrument.
Sei eccezionale!!! Congrats from Italy
Ok...I cried...
🌙🌙🌙This music reminds me of Ramadan, which is a month when Muslims abstain from eating
Just wanted to let u know, uv made this my favorite instrument
とっても素敵☺️❤
I've come to realize something. Tons of Metalheads love celtic/medieval sounds. Everywhere I look on the internet, I find Metalheads listening to, or playing them.. I love it too, and I was an 80-90's metalhead.
My man I subscribe
Damn, that souds epic. i love it 🙏🏻

I've been wanting to learn to play a hammer dulcimer for a little while now. My family on both sides are Russian Germans, and the Russian Germans played this kind of instrument. It's so beautiful, I'd feel most honored to be able to muster this skill!

I want to play this as well, but eye issues prevent it. I hope you are successful in obtaining and learning to play this instrument. ❤
If you want to learn more about Heaven with a dulcimer, go to Rich Mullins “Creed”. -the 1M views one. He loved playing dulcimer & it was a signature of his. At the peek of his career he turned his back on fame & success to live on a Native American reservation in New Mexico, teaching music to children and sharing his simple hope of the gospel of Jesus. 26 years ago, at the age of 41, Mullins lost his life in a car accident on the way to do a benefit concert in Kansas. Something I found that’s really cool is “78 Eatonwood Green”(Live at FBC). He and his band wrote this one in Ireland amongst others I guess. The whole song is Mullins on dulcimer w the band. So talented.
👌👏👍
When you realise this is the original music of Ramadan 😮🎶🎵
i wanna play pen&paper right now!
i love dulcimer, can you play the Witch's daughter by Ashley Serena ?🥺🥺🫶🫶

This one I built myself with a friend of mine, but some good dulcimer makers I know of are Dusty Strings, Songbird, Master Works, and Rick Thum to name a few. You could probably find more recommendations on forums and FB groups
Why is this 5 hours long ❤
I need some decent hammers. My I ask where I might find ones like yours? Thanks! 😎👍🏻🎶🔨

The ones I’m using here are Dusty Strings. They are probably my favorite hammers I’ve ever used! Their bounce and responsiveness make them so easy to play with. Since they are on the larger/heavier side however, it can be slightly more difficult to make large jumps across the instrument. But for me the pros outweigh the cons. They are the #7 double-sided large on this page: manufacturing.dustystrings.com/products/hammers

Also, if your dulcimer has more narrow string spacing they might be difficult to use without making mistakes because they have a large striking surface, but it looks like DS has a smaller version on that page (#6)
You play Burong kakak tua
