Everyone thought Marvel vs Capcom 2 was the craziest crossover roster we would ever see but Sakurai has basically done the impossible, Disney doesn't even play nice with Square and they made Kingdom Hearts. Everyone acting salty needs to step back and realize, they will never see a roster anywhere close to this again in their lives. This game is beyond insane.

@@muffetmissulena6540 It's actually sad to see people disregard how crazy this roster is just because they didn't get their character in the final spot. Honestly, it kinda couldn't have been anyone but Sora if they could get him, he's been the most requested character since Brawl was announced, during the Smash ballot, even without official results, basically every poll taken in both the East and the West had Sora in the top 2, but I literally saw people in chat mad that it wasn't Jonesy... The lack of self awareness is wild.

Fun fact: Sony actually tried convincing Disney and Square-Enix multiple times to let Sora join PSASBR as a DLC character! But they both refused as they felt Sora would stick out like a sore thumb being wedged into a character roster primarily known for its Blood/overly mature rated culture and didn't believe he'd fit in properly. And honestly, I think Square-Enix and Disney especially, trusted Nintendo more than Sony when it came to proper character development, implementation and care!

Sora is literally the hardest character to get into the game and they did it ❤️

@@FlightX101 and they were trying since Wii U/3DS days so at least a solid 6 years since the start of the Smash Ballot. So for 6 years they’ve been fighting Disney to get Sora…6 years well fought

Tbh all it is in my mind now a day later after this bomb is that Squareenix has to be in good terms with Nintendo and that probably means a MarioRPG2 (i know paper mario was named that before launch but you know what i mean)

@@Ralkila the truth was it was a Joint Effort between Nintendo and Square Enix to convince Disney for Sora to join. While Nomura and Sakurai talked to the Broad of Directors of Disney. Mario and Mickey threw hands. With Mario winning the fight. NINTENDO proved to be Disney's Equal in the Video Game Industry.

"Sora won the ballot" "But Sora's from Square Enix and Disney. I don't think Disney will be letting him in Smash" "Okay, we'll go with Bayonetta for now and not let any fans know about the results" _6 Years Later_ "Disney called. We can put Sora in Smash now."

Sora was the most requested for 9 years, but it was recently (as in, at some point in between 2015 and 2021) that Sakurai had the chance to approach a Disney representative at an Award Show and pitched in the idea of Sora in Smash. The Disney rep said "You know what? Let's talk about it" and that's why Fighter Pass 2 had 6 fighters. It was supposed to only have five, but Sora was basically a last-minute bonus

That "let's go!" before Sora's banner thing + tagline showed up got me CRYING

Sora's Keyblade recognized Mario as being a parallel to Mickey Mouse. Thus, the Keyblade was calling on Mario to unlock the way for light to ignite the darkness away in order to unlock Sora, but also to set everyone free from their trophy like state!

Simple, the Keyblade recognized Mario being parallel to Mickey Mouse. Thus, it called on Mario to be the one to unlock the light back into Smash in order to unlock Sora into the game! THAT's, how it all went down. And thus, the rest is History! Thank you very much and have a good day.

Dude, from the very first Smash Ultimate reveal, it was the Keyblade igniting the Smash logo the WHOLE TIME.

This is probably my favorite of the many reactions. It has the passion of the loud screaming ones (which I also like) but also has the cool, calm tactical analysis like Bizkit's (who I love), but more fun. Don't worry bro, we all cried that day; I'm still riding the high the day after

Literally jumped for joy as this was revealed and nearly screamed. I'm so happy.

Love how everyone's reaction went from: *Mii costumes revealed* Oh it's a Splatoon character *Smash logo fades away leaving a single flame* Oh it's Fire emblem *Everyone turns into a trophy* Oh it's master hand *Mario walking towards the flame* Oh it's dark souls *Keyblade appears* OH MY GOD IT'S SORA!!!

I've been binge watching these sora smash reactions all day, and this one was the quietest reaction of them all 😹😹😹😹

I love that this starts with the snark anticipation of Sora just being a Mii costume and then a few minutes later the tears.

Not gonna lie, this makes me kind of want to run KH 1 again to improve my time as I never thought I'd see Sora in Smash. Very hype for him being added! Great reaction video.

Probably one of the best if not THE best character reveal. Truly amazing.

As someone who speedruns smash ultimate World of Light it's going to be interesting to test him out for the run. From 1 runner to another I'm glad for you on this one.

Mario made the impossible for unleashing the Keyblade and opening the door to let Sora into the biggest crossover fighting game in history after travelling to each Disney world. Best reveal moment ever from all previous DLC fighters and the greatest gift to fans for the 20th Anniversary of Kingdom Hearts!

41:46 Looking back at this trailer, this moment was so perfect. "There are many worlds, but they all share the same sky." Sora being the Japanese word for sky, having Sora in front of the skies of all these different worlds was great.

In the Super Smash Bros reveal, they should've had one of the characters say "Sora, what took you so long?" and Sora would say "Long story, legal reasons"
