The player raised xehanort so We have been technically been beating up our adopted son for the entire series

You know what would be really fucked up is if the cloak that the reincarnated player wore became the cloth that Sora, Kairi, and Rikku used for their sailboat.

Props for being one of the very few people on KZread so far to do an actual proper deep dive/recap on the last few episodes rather than just discuss the ending and highlights. Needed something with more depth and you delivered. 👍

Wait a minute. Is the player character Sora? I'm making this connection because what I've seen from the player is that whenever he dies, he reincarnated in the same place. He died the first time in Daybreak town and he reincarnated in Scala which is Daybreak town upside down many years later. We see the player die again in Destiny Island and then guess what, Sora is born on Destiny Island. That would make a lot more sense as to why Sora and Ventus randomly make a connection in BBS original. Ventus reached out to a familiar friend, AKA the player which I believe started a life time as Sora. It's starting to make more sense how Xehanort is the Chiod of destiny now. Remember, Player says he will be on his destined path by meeting many other people. Well he meets Sora. He meets Luxu, he meets MoM, he meets Eraqus. He meets all these people.

Xehanort's job in The Master of Master's script is the Scapegoat. He is to be the "villian" who will shape the Singularity through the Children of Destiny ( namely Sora and the Chosen Surrounding him). We are wrong about that but it is intentionally script that way by the Master.

I personally think the "You" is actually Bragi. Luxu can use Dark portal's, and I think Bragi made a deal with Hades to make Bradlr think Bragi passed away. Therefore, the classmates will believe him passed without a corpse. It is like the thing Xigbar did in KH3 with extra steps. It also ensures Baldr/ Darkness won't win even if they beat Xehanort.

Hey there, amazing video. Just for your interest, I'm pretty sure that chains used by sora in kh4 trailer are pretty differents from Odin and Aqua ones. Specifically, watching that kh4 scene frame by frame, you can see that the chain is more like an extension of the keyblade Keychain, and not from the tip of the keyblade like the other two. But maybe you still are correct!

I think the Child of Destiny Chosen status is contagious, like Darkness is contagious. So the Master of Masters makes Ventus Chosen in the Book because Ventus will/has become one with Sora. Riku also is Chosen , and passes that to Sora, who then passed it back in Dream Drop Distance when Riku dives in Sora's Dreams and becomes a Dream Eater. Kairi also is Chosen (Pure Light/Princess of Heart) and becomes one with Sora in Kh1.

4:35 A Disney+ series is the smartest choice. HOWEVER, knowing how Disney and SE operates as of late, I ain't holding my breath...

I'm trying to binge all the UX and dark road lore, quick question. If the foretellers were brought back do you think the darknesses they harboured also are back with them?

What I would guess the storyline for the next arc with the whole 7 lights v 7 darks is that the seven darks are represented by the true darknesses inside the Foretellers, Luxu, and the Master of Masters. So yes, they probably are, and are going to be destroyed so that the darknesses can be destroyed with them and that's been MoM's plan the whole time

Weird that a young Yen Sid isn't here.

I think the hades scene where he goes “You” could actually be Donald and goofy somehow!! Cause in a somewhat recent trailer it shows Donald and goofy walking in the underworld and then flame appears on screen lol. My theory is their looking for clues on what happened to sora after he disappeared for Quadradum and hades might give them useful information on the matter! If this is really true it really screws up the entire timeline of KH but it’s possible Disney worlds move at an absolute snail’s pace in terms of the flow of time so it could make sense but it wouldn’t be the first time something extremely strange happened either! Can’t forget the time Mickey Donald and goofy accidentally SOMEHOW ended up going to DAYBREAK town and yes the real version of it too! Not the data backup version, ! That scene to this day has never been explained lol.

Nomura always says he wants Sora to be just an ordinary guy who is a good person basically. So I don't think he is the Child of Destiny. It is either Riku or Kairi I think. Or if Nomura wants to leave a plotline hanging for after the MoM and the 13 Darknesses, it could be a descendent of Sora and Kairi and whatever new threat they would have to put up with. Thats pure brainstorming on my part though I am pretty confident about Sora NOT being a "Chosen One" character.

Doesn't this infer that Skuld also didn't go to the future and that, just like Ephemer, survived the destruction to create SaC? If Ephemer is Xehanort's ancestor, and Skuld is related to Xehanort's mother.... I guess Subject X is Strelitzia.

wild thought i had listening to this. the master of master telling xehanort his name in that scene, and the word, his name, being blatantly omitted, reminds me alot of the opening chapter of KH2, where the nobodies, in pursuit of Roxas, stole photos of roxas, but they also stole the word "photo". This was one of the first major clues that Roxas was in a simulation, and considering how KH has made use of simulated realities ALOT, the idea that the mom's name or even identity is removed from the world is not entirely out of the question, and whether or not any of Kingdom Hearts is meant to be in "reality" (to be clear, all in-universe), simulation, or somesuch is an ongoing open question. heck, Yen Sid will probably pull some "our reality is their fiction and their fiction is our reality" stuff come KH4.

The fact that they failed to beat maleficent confirms that indeed our character as a child was stronger than they were, so it is in line with what a certain character said to sora at one point, that older keyblade wielders used to be stronger, however i hate how our character ceases to be in there, it would've been cool to see him/her intervene in the events. Also, the fact he shaved his hair is also something that connects to the padawans in star wars... god fucking damnit nomure you recycled old worlds 20 times but never used star wars for Kh3?! The universe where the main hero becomes one of the main villains of darkness byt then finds something to REMEMBER of WHO HE WAS and return TO LIGHT AND REDEEM HIMSELF?! fucking damnit nomura

Will they make a 4th video game of spyro & a 3rd movie of Disney's frozen?

Think player is luxord? I mean his missing link self looks even more like him then even union cross. And honestly wean you consider luxord, demex, Marluxia, and Larxene where all picked because they are keyblade weilders from uinon and missing link if luxord being a common dinomanator from both periods matchs and he is the real virus to the masters plans if you think about it its implied he was infected by a darkness wean he seald 4 of them away potentially taking out 4 at minimum 5 at maximum of the true darknesses he was a nameless nobody the master didn't once bring up and he is a person from uinon who not only never touched a all seeing eye but was thought to have died by luxiu honestly the fact he lived twice and is potentially now in quadradium hevily implies a perfect candidate to who luxord is I mean his love of games could even be a hint as games need players plus as xahnort's care taker he is even more likely to be pulled from of all the potential weilders from the two timelines honestly the more I think on it the more its starting to make sense futher more he is also the key to sora's return the true child of prophecy players really a facanating character if this is right as the sheer driving force of being a virus and hevily altering events into a spesfic path.

The more I watch the more I understand but damn shits confusing

I hate how they handled xehanort at the end of kh3. all that was required to stop him was to literally take 1 minute talking to him and showing him his childhood friend, jesus christ

He was stopped because he was defeated, he couldn't continue as much as he wanted. Talking yo him only made him realize it was over for him and that he lost

One who knows nothing can understand nothing

Kingdom hearts 3 final boss fight has so much more meaning to me after dark road. Everytime I see xehanort on screen, I feel bad for him and understand why he’s doing the things he’s doing. The cutscene after the fight is even better
