Why? It's just a solo version of his Keyblade Graveyard fight/a way weaker version of his data battle, it felt pretty uninspired

I just love when sora says to terranort "Hey. I can travel to different times too, you know." "Do you think you where the only one with power?"😂 then sora has smirk on his face. Sora u been so savage in KH3

Just loving how they use the good ol' Dismiss and how the fight is reminiscent of Aqua's duel against Terranort in Radiant Garden.

Sora VS Terra/Xehanort with Dismiss... Oh my... This is perfect.

I still wish the battle was Sora AND Lingering Will vs Terranort

KH3 ReMind's sleeping hearts were indeed based on the 7 stages of grief. Specifically disbelief(Roxas), denial(Ventus), bargaining(Riku), guilt(Xion) anger(Terra), depression(Aqua), and acceptance(Kairi).

So the Lingering Will was widely considered the toughest KH super boss for a long time, and Terra-Xehanort was widely considered the easiest final boss... But still the Lingering Will Lost to Terra-Xehanort. (And no, don't blame Sora, he saved the Lingering Will before the Lingering Will saved him.)

Well, to be fair. We fight the extremely pissed off Lingering Will (Terra, basically a keyblade master with years of training from a descendant of the original keyblade masters) as Sora, a 15 year old boy who's had no formal training and has been wielding the keyblade for the lesser part of a year (not including the time he spent asleep). It makes sense Lingering Will would be really difficult. However, we fight an already very weakened Terranort as Aqua, a crowned keyblade master, and she still barely beat him. I think people severely underestimate how strong Terranort is. He's the heart, knowledge, and soul of one of the most powerful keyblade wielders, Master Xehanort, in the body of the physically strongest character in the series, Terra. Fighting Terranort at full strength would be near impossible, especially in his KH3 days where it took the combined efforts of the toughest superboss in the series AND a very powerful Sora to finally take him down.

To be honest, Xehanort cheated the whole time instead of fighting fair and square. Xehanort deserved to get insulted by Sora full force and he is to cowardly to use power of waking knowing the price it had.

Tbf, Sora beat him fair and square as is insinuated by the cutscene after the battle. Only then he brings out the guardian. Much like riku's fight against roxas

DAMN THERE FIGHTING LIKE DBZ CHARACTERS NOW I LOVE IT.

So in the timeline before Remind, Terra-Xehanort crushed the Lingering Will with the guardian’s hand. Terra’s worst enemy really is himself.

Chirithy said at the start of Re Mind that Sora already went back in time before we saw it happen. That's why we didn't see the battle in the base game; it'd just create more confusion.

@@binkyboy448 Just like mickey try to stop sora in the ending of kingdom hearts 3 he knew kairi is safe and with a future verison of sora.

I want to note, that Lingering Will said "As long as Xehanort resides within you" not "As long as Xehanort resides within us". Does that mean Lingering Will considers himself a separate entity altogether?

Possibly, Terras lingering will is anger, so there is a chance he could come into play for Kingdom Hearts 4.

At this point, Terra’s will has been separated from his body for many years not believing he’ll get it back. So I think that’s just him acknowledging that.

He doesn't say "us" because the heart that resided within his body was Xehanort's. And I believe Lingering Will knew that his own heart as Terra was not inside his body when he fight against Terra-Xehanort.

@@Bannedconfidential I think he was still thinking on getting it back during this period. It's actually more like him acknowledging that his body only hosted a fragment of Master Xehanort's heart (with his own heart being somewhere else.)

Well, at this point and with how much time had passed by, the Lingering Will may still be part of Terra, since it's his, well... will... it's a separate entity until it joins back with Terra. So, yeah.

@@takeshiair I am so angry the PoW is never properly explained. KH3 makes it seem like it gives a person the power to break reality in order to save a heart. Riku using it in 3D made sense; he just pointed his keyblade at Sora’s heart and he was able to wake it up after fighting what was keeping him asleep. In KH3 Sora using it allows him to chase and kill the heartless that captured everyone’s hearts and then it somehow resets time to when everyone was last physically fine at the cost of their memories. Then in Remind, it causes him to somewhat mimic Xehanort’s time travel where he uses his friends as temporary vessels but he can also manifest a body?!

I’m just wondering how Sora escaped from the heartless after Lingering Will got destroyed.

This shows how Terranort is probably the second strongest member besides Old Xehanort with Kingdom Hearts powers. It makes sense he is superior to Ansem and Xemnas, he can do whatever they can but with a keyblade and a heart. He also has much more experience than Young Xehanort and that makes him the strongest character (without Kingdom Hearts power involved) Some may argue Old Xehanort base is also stronger than him but that doesn't make sense. Terranort is basically Xehanor experience with Terra stronger and young body, so indeed a superior fighter. 1. Terranort 2. Old Xehanort 3. Young Xehanort 4. Xemnas 5. Ansem 6. Isa 7. Braig 8. Dark Riku 9. Vanitas 10. Xion 11. Marluxia 12. Larxene 13. Luxord

The reason some argue about Master Xehanort being stronger is because of his abilities and feats beyond wielding a Keyblade. For starters, it’s proven he’s the most powerful Magic user of all the Keyblade masters and wielders we’ve seen in Kingdom Hearts so far. He was able to overpower King Mickey’s patented “Stopza” spell. Also, he was the one who created Vanitas, and indirectly, the Unversed. That said, Terranort is most certainly the strongest member of the True Organization for all the reasons you mentioned.

It's true that main characters in KH are so worthless during cutscenes... You might not notice it at all, but it directly impacts how you perceive events from the experience when the game tells you something and the cutscenes tell you otherwise. If Sora weren't going to be able to defeat Terra-Xehanort, why let him even stand a chance during gameplay? Foul, disjointed game design. Even the first KH respected that, when Sora loses his Kingdom Key and has to fight with a wooden sword. He DOES feel weaker. But not here. Ah, well. No coming back to those days, it seems...

hes fighting alone and cant really afford to waste time fighting terranort also this is answering questions like "what happened between lingering will and terranort?" also remember that sora here is basically a heart and since this fight is happening out of what hes witnessed he's able to intervene and fight him here, if youve played remind then you know whats going on because you sir are acting ignorant

And the fact that Riku seems familiar with Oblivion when he steal it from Roxas during their battle ... But if you're right ... Well in power level Terranort should be among the strongest Keyblade Wielders in the modern age as he’s the fusion of Master Xehanort and Terra, and Lingering Will is made from the soul of Terra that resisted

Lingering will was kicking terranort’s ass though. It wasn’t until Terranort summoned the Guardian did he turn the tables. The guardian is pretty op considering it just revives itself over and over

Looks more like Sora became a hesrt again and traveled through time to escape Let’s not forget to Time Travel Sora must leave his body, so he’s really like a spirit here lacking a physical body, was reduced to heart and soul I like to think in final moments Sora as a heart was forced to retreat and travel again through time before Terranort finished him off

In almost every kh video I've seen, everyone fights the bosses with low health. For me, I usually MAX out Sora's health so I'm ready for anything. Wonder why so many people prefer to fight with low health? Not hating, just wondering

Sora's dumbass is why we lost Terra's Lingering Will spirit! (This is why we never see him again, y'all!)

Sora just let himself get grabbed by the Guardian. Thus, Terra-Xehanort automatically wins. Too cheap. And KH as a series is FULL of these cheap confrontation moments. I wish fights remained as hyped as the rest of this very fight was, to the end of them.

sora didnt know where the guardian was gonna come from and since it rose up from behind him he didnt have enough time to react accordingly, so sora didnt "let himself" be grabbed by the guardian
