RIP GREAT DRUMMER JAMES
R. I. P. James Kottak. What a talented drummer.
People don't know it yet, but Kottak is a legendary drummer.

RIP James!!!
That’s a spectacular performance. They were so tight. They should’ve been way more popular than they were, IMO.
James Kottak has got to be hands down one of the best hard rock drummers on the planet! Bravo! Kingdom Come simply crushed it in their prime.

I saw them open on the Monsters of Rock tour in 88. James Kottak was flat out incredible all the way through. I know Kingdom Come took a lot of hits for being a Led Zep rip off, but they sounded GREAT live, and James Kottak is a drum god.

Dude he's not even the best drummer that's played in Kingdom Come. Mark Cross smokes his ass and makes him look like the alcoholic crack head Kotex really is...
Rock On James!!!

RIP James Kottak
James Kottak a MACHINE!! This band should made it big!

er.. they are. Whilst Lenny had continued to release albums under the KC banner and a different line up... this year they reformed with the original line up and plans to do some gigs. Not sure if they have done any yet

wow, amazing ........with 5 piece drum kit ! and the sound he got off the mics

It is much easier to get a huge sound out of a four or five piece kit. You don't run into the phase problems that you do trying to record a four-car garage drum set. Tom left, Tom right, kick and snare right down the center. Open the overheads and room mic, and stand back!!
a whole official video concert from the first or second album is what i m dreaming of...never seen them live
Bringing back some good memories!!
Totally awesome i miss this group very much RIP
Woe ! How good is this live!!
LOVE this Band!

I like it!
What a great show!
Fabulous stuff.
WOW! That was amazing. Took me right back to the days I wore KC shirts, sketched pictures of Lenny, and tried to catch any show I could. Which wasn't many since I was still in high school. My first rock concert of MANY, KC opening the Monsters of Rock show in DC. I only went to see them (and the Scorpions!!!) Even went and got the Stone Fury records. Lost touch with KC on the third record... :( ...... couldn't believe that I was seeing James on the Ex.Wives of Rock show. Wow, aging sux! (for some)
Holy crap. This is really good. Hair bands everywhere m, and one guy is playing a Les Paul and the other is playing one of the first Paul Reed Smiths I’ve ever seen live.
What is it with bands when they go to Japan? They go there and sound the best they ever have and will!
Kingdom Come Oh God what an incredible good band it was such greath songs as Do You Like It love ya forever
I saw Kingdom Come support the Scorpions at the Worcester Centrum in Sept. ‘88. We were on the floor about 10 rows back. It was a very powerful experience to say the least.
Saw then in coliseum memorial Los Angeles cal.!!!! Great fucking band love it !!!!!
I would have loved to see them at Red Rocks - that venue is built for his vocal
Hard on!
I used to have this stuff on video. Kingdome Come and Britny Fox opened for Bon Jovi, right ? This is so passionate that it took me to my high school days in 1988.

When is this band coming to town? Who today has that kind of energy to put their all into a song like that? Kudo, Blessings, and High 5s and 10s to the people who organized this and captured it on film. Editing is Right On. The best I have ever seen. I would love to see the pictures taken of the audience there. That shows respect that we love you too. :>

Meant to say. The band showed respect for taking the audiences picture like that. Meaning to me, you are great too for being here. Thank you.
When you are a Rock Star, BE a Rock Star!
We come along way to be with you and it's not easy what we do...let's get it on to what we do best. That sums it up to what we are all here for. To do what we do best. Something that touches anyone around the world to make us all feel the best.
Genios

A fu--ing good Rock Band.
I would love to see the reunion of this original KC band. God, that would be amazing after all these years. Loved these boys during this time and wished they'd stayed together. KC rocked with no correlation whatever to LZ, which I am so fuck'g tired of hearing.
@DebraNormand

Oh, good grief - an expert. Are you a musicologist? There may be some similarities to LZ but if YOU listen to the entire corpus or is it a compendium of KC's music from then until now you will find they sound less and less like Zepp as time goes on. In the 80s there were many rock band clones that emerged onto the stage but I don't ever remember a band being as lambasted as KC was because they sounded similar, yes, only similar to the biggest and most well known rock band in the world at that time. Give it a break, man. We've heard enough of this crap for over three decades. And it also doesn't detract from the brilliance of Lenny Wolf's musical genius. He's done more to create a unigue anthology of music than the guys in LZ ever did except maybe apart from Jimmy Page who I greatly admired for his talent and musical genius. Page gave Zepp it's music and Plant gave it a voice. Lenny's done it all and played every instrument on several of his album/CD's. You can't say that for Led Zepplin.

Hey for your information because they sounded similar to Led Zepplin, the members of LZ put a stop to there performing and the band had to disband.

Not true. However, Page and Plant spoke negatively about them very publicly. Served to create a general consensus that they were just imitators. Plus they didn’t pay their ‘homage’ to Zep, didn’t kiss the ring.

Too fast...
Is it me or the drummer's clips look out of sync?? It looks like the film is ahead of the beat... This drummer is a clock so I know it ain't him!
Just a few too many BPMs there. It'd be way cooler at the original tempo.
Sadly out of sync :-(
