Rode this for the first time yesterday and the video does it no justice, the launch takes you 0-130mph in twice the speed of a Ferrari and it’s probably literally the closest thing you’ll ever feel to a rocket ship in your life, the ride is short but very worth it. Absolutely terrifying and amazing.

I went on for the first time yesterday first row all i can say is that the anticipation is worse the g force is crazy the speed that is needed to go up is more extreme than the drop itself. You can't feel the drop. It only last a few seconds

Yep the anticipation is torment!! But it goes so fast I didn't even feel weightlessness going down. It's one of the best rides I've ever been on my only complaint is the ride time is very short. But I want on at multiple times I absolutely loved it

Jesse Stinson how so? Rides get checked daily for anything, also they have sensors at every stretch of track. Think of how many people crash in cars than on roller coasters a massive difference and when rides have crashed in this century most were human errors unless you look at somewhere like China or just any 3 rd world countries then yes accidents occur there since they are maintained badly.

by far the 20 most amazing seconds of my life !! we were sitting fully forward, the speed is really powerful, you stay nailed to your seat, the eyes flow alone, in short, this roller coaster is really sensational

I rode this over 10 years ago, and it took my breath away when I got to the top. I actually started praying because it was so scary, haha. Unfortunately, it ruined all other roller coasters for me. I don't get a thrill like I used to before riding Kingda Ka, because nothing has compared to it.

Ok so I went for the first time yesterday and it is so much fun. I was so scared... when people say you dont feel the drop is true. You don't get butterflies. And when it launches that is the "worst" part. And I say "worst" because is not even bad is super cool. It goes really fast and everything looks so pretty at the top. I definitely recommend this ride, it is mt favorite one out of all. You don't even get .

I went on it today, it felt like my soul left my body once it launched. This ride is not for the weak I swear😭

I live in the Uk and my sistet lives in NY. I went on this ride about 16 years ago. I have to say this is still my best ride on a rollercoaster hands down. My son is in NY at this moment in time. I asked my sister to take him there. He went on it yesterday. He said Dad. That ride is mad ha ha ha. He loved it. If you get the chance then do it.

It was so fast I felt nothing. Waiting in line and waiting to launch are the worst parts, once you launch its over so fast you won’t be able to even think and then it’s over lol

Oh man from 00:42 to 00:48 I've never been on this one, but I know that top thrill has the same feel right before you launch. Those few seconds after you hear the mechanism get ready is just flat out exhilarating. Keep up the awesome videos!

@@chloehollar5074 Nitro is a much longer ride but no coaster in the world feels like Kingda-Ka, the launch feeling is unexplainable. I was there a couple weeks ago and there was no lines at all, we ran Kingda-Ka 8 times in a row front row without even exiting the line.

I’ve been on it. It’s really not bad. I recommend to get on it. It’s so fun!

It’s really not as bad as you think it is. I’m telling you the worst part of it is waiting on the line, trust me. You don’t even notice the height once you’re up there. It’s so fast you don’t even know how to react! And my stomach didn’t drop when going down the hill.

That's right, you do the top hat so slow that you don't feel any G's for the drop. You feel the launch though :P

This was the first ride that I went on when I got to the park. My group was one of the first to get in line, and so we literally walked right on. I've always been too afraid to go on it cause of the height, but it wasn't bad at all. Just the launch scared me a bit.

Honestly it's not the going up or coming down that really scares you, it's when you first launch the extreme acceleration towards what your brain thinks is a wall causes so much adrenaline! I love this ride more than any other I've been on (Even love it more than Universal Studios the Hulk Ride)

I've been on that ride when i was like 9 or 8 like twice it was s much fun! My dad for some reason kept his eyes closed and screamed like a little girl. My eyes were open the whole time. It's also a nice view from the top before they drop you.

I’ve been on this amazing ride 23 times! 18 times in the front row! Front row is by far the best. Wait an extra 10-15 mins for the front! It’s worth it!

Was at fright fest tn, first time at six flags as an avid coaster fan. This was closed for night, but I’ll be back. Crazy seeing it in person. I love launch coasters though so I know I’ll love it

Spent over 3 hours in line for this when was opened for the first few months. The ride lasts less than a minute…still enjoyed it.

I went on this for a 12th time today and I saw a rollback which was amazing and extremely rare!!

i never been to six flags before so this will be my first time this summer!and this is the ride i searched uo that i wanted to go on for years! wish me luck 😱

I went on this ride with my son Ryan. We planned a trip this summer just to go on this ride! Flew to DC from Florida, rented a truck and drove to New Jersey all for the experience to ride the tallest rollercoaster in the world and fastest in North America. Prepped with many KZread videos beforehand like prepping for a moon launch. Sat in the first car since that is the smoothest and will not rock side-to-side. Ride is smooth as glass. Knowing the mechanics of the launch vehicle, history, the break after the top-hat....all helps with the experience. The second best part of the ride is the anticipation when you sit down in the coaster and it rolls back a couple feet to engage the catapult launch vehicle. It can be described as pure terror. Then in an instant, you are shot forward faster then you have ever been in your life, faster then any Tesla, drag racer, or any vehicle available to mere mortals. All coasters after riding this coaster have a little less zing to them. Although we recommend the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride at Epcot as another "Must Ride" roller coaster!

I have been on other coasters like nitro. The lift was long, and the drop was too much. Can’t wait to try this one.

I deadass passed out on this ride back in 2017. The moment I regain consciousness was at the top of the rollercoaster. The sheer horror when I was looking straight down haunts me to this day 😭😭

Albeit a short ride, that looks AWESOME!! Still not enough to get me to travel to Jersey though.

They have a bunch of other good roller-coasters and rides that are worth the trip depending on how far your coming from...

So a couple weeks ago i went on this with my friends....and i seriously thought i was gonna die. but now after i went on it.... its my favorite ride in the park

Rode for the 1st time Saturday night. The launch is intense as fuck, extreme positive g's compress ya right into the seat on the way up..then the quick view and plummet. Loved the whole experience. I prefer the typical out and back style coasters with a lift hill but this was sick. Will ride again for sure.

I remember when they first started building this roller coaster back in '04 and I told my then girlfriend at the time. I said yea baby we're going to have to get on that next summer when it's finished. 18yrs later I've only been back to 6 Flags once an still haven't gotten on it 😄....maybe 2022 will be the year 🤔

I’m proud of myself for finally riding it yesterday, I remember this being my most feared ride, whenever my dad mentioned it I tried to get his mind off it, it’s also one of my favorites, I think nitro is my top favorite so far

This looks like a wild ride!

2-3 hour wait time for a 50 second ride of your life, must be worth the wait

This ride is awesome 0-128mph in 3 seconds, simply awesome

I wanna experience this to find out how an astronaut feels while flying up in a rocket. It might not be as fast and strong, but I feel like it would be a great way to find out.

My friends and I were terrified and screaming while this happened. But once it was over we were cheering with joy and excitement

Awesome ride

The fastest rollercoaster I’ve been on is 73 mph and the drop is 200 feet…and i nearly passed out going up the hill. and I was screaming at the top of my lungs the whole time. I would absolutely LOVE to be on something like this!

Even without being there exactly I feel the bumps and ways in my heart and it just exploded

Rode it 4 times I live near the jersey shore so yea I can go every day
