Tara is such an inspiring woman...and she has a presence... very admirable. First time i heard about her was through my younger sister. Her marriage is exemplary. King Woman!
Tara's composure is golden. She seemed to have mastered the art of facial gesticulation. Her smile. Her calm. She seemed in control of her emotions. I'm taking that with me.
Children are impressionable, be careful what you do to a child. Seeds become trees.
king women series is for every woman. so intense. Thumbs up to Kemi Adetiba
Six years ago; I’m still hooked to King women episodes ❤❤
What a mighty gift to my soul this is. Thank you Tara, thank you Kemi & thank you to all those who play a part in bringing this series to light.
this was so emotive, really exposes the issues with marriages and misunderstanding from the perspective of children which is often ignored... I really related to this
I can relate to Aunty Tara's experience. My mum left myBrothers and I when I was four years old and in the process I lost one of my brothers. Till date having a mother daughter relationship is hard but I know healing takes time and that in the end I will be whole again.
I will forever appreciate what King Woman stirs in me. Thank you Kemi. And thank you Mrs Durotoye for being comfortable to dig deep and show us our lives from the hand held mirror. Thank you.
I couldn't stop watching! 30 minutes well spent. I'm so glad I saw this on Bella Naija. I am leaving here so inspired. Tara, you are a phenomenal woman. I love how real you are. I especially love the fact that you have a personal relationship with God. Thanks for sharing your story. It really makes a difference. Thanks so much, Kemi Adetiba!

Thank you for watching!!
This sounds so much like my mom's story.... the childhood part. Her mom was never there, mom grew up with two stepmoms and was treated like the maid...helping the other women's kids with everything. It sort of affected the way she raised me though... It was tough love all the way, and she also wasn't there for my own 'milestones'. You can still feel the bitterness whenever she talks about her experiences growing up. Sadly, the damage runs so deep, even now I feel very detached from my own mom because I never understood why she also was never there, even when we lived in the same house. People really go through a lot.

Sending you Love. Stay strong. I can relate.
Sometimes people don't understand the pain others go through and judge them. However, if you walked a day in their shoes and ask for your heart to be opened to understand their situation then you will understand their pain and the reason they act the way they do. Thank you for sharing Tara.
oh Wow! very inspiring...I have tears in my eyes because her story-the polygamous home, absentee mother, boarding school, doting father-is so similar to mine. Thank you Miss Adetiba. Thank you Mrs Tara.

Just watched a TEDTalk abt a woman who said she doesnt have disagreements with her husband as she had decided not to from the onset of her marriage. Your phrase just confirmed it. have you stopped king women?? This program is super amazing
All the Yoruba females I've watched so far came from a polygamy home. And all of them had nothing good to say. So, why are some people (9ce) determined to be second wife or a man wants to be married polygamy.....Kemi, I want to be on your KING WOMAN oooo.
So beautiful......shalom
I don't know this woman but I see a bit of Fank Donga's facial and vocal semblance in this woman.
