Tal would be proud of that game.

A lot of chess is about anticipation. You can think Black's "Bg4 is nice because it prevents Qside castling", but that's only the very first step in the decision-making process. The next step, which is still strategy IMO is "and White wants to trade his light-square bishop, so he will play Be2. Is my Bg4 helping him or helping me". Given the huge role of anticipation, moves like Bh6, which likely was not anticipated, have large psychological impact, so not surprising White immediately errs. But it is curious that hxg6 isn't mentioned, since that seems an extremely natural reply too, winning a pawn and threatening Rxh6. Sure Black can still go with Rxe3, but it's messy at first glance, worth exploring.

How about showing some Fischer games with the KID?? He seemed to favor the complex fighting positions that can arise in it. I think Stein aloso had some marvelous games with it too. A shame the top guys seem to hardly ever use it anymore. Good show as always.

Beautiful game.i couldnt believe black won.at one point all black pieces where still undeveloped except for a knight.that rock lift was a terrible move and also closing the position when your opponents pieces are still in the back was even a worst idea than rook back to the second rank. You where right it was a beautiful game very insightful.

I don't understand the move h3 in this opening. Why not play f3 instead? Then you can play h2-h4 in one move. I've seen this in more games analysed on this channel. White plays h3 and later f3 and h3-h4. If you don't play h3, you save a move, right?

Rh4 and rh2 were some unlucky moves. I also thought of Rf1 but when I saw Rh4 I thought, oh sure, good move. Now white can castle. Intuitively you may say Rh4 walk into a self pin so its not desirable and on h2 its on the color of the f8 bishop but the innocent looking e8 pony was actually the greatest threat. Tricky piece.

@@michaelf8221 Maybe. I'm not good enough to know. But I forgot, you can have g6xh7+ before taking the bishop. Don't know if it's better in the end.

I found Nf6! relatively quickly.
