About King Richard:
Based on the true story that will inspire the world, Warner Bros. Pictures’ “King Richard follows the journey of Richard Williams, an undeterred father instrumental in raising two of the most extraordinarily gifted athletes of all time, who will end up changing the sport of tennis forever. Two-time Oscar nominee Will Smith (“Ali,” “The Pursuit of Happyness,” “Bad Boys for Life”) stars as Richard, under the direction of Reinaldo Marcus Green (“Monsters and Men”).
Driven by a clear vision of their future and using unconventional methods, Richard has a plan that will take Venus and Serena Williams from the streets of Compton, California to the global stage as legendary icons. The profoundly moving film shows the power of family, perseverance and unwavering belief as a means to achieve the impossible and impact the world.

I am just glad the Williams family got all the recognition they deserved and nothing crazy happened at the Oscars that would detract from all that recognition.

It is important to be humble; for the most part; but you should definitely still be happy about what you accomplished

This actor is amazing, hope he doesn’t slap a comedian at a world wide event and tarnish his Oscar win.

It is an amazing performance and great story. I don’t think Will’s a bad guy just because of one slap. But unfortunately he’ll have to face consequences. Hopefully we can see him on the screen again soon.

I love this scene because the argument is too realistic. I can hear myself yelling "you go back and get my girls, that’s what you do!“

I like how will brought up their religion. Kingdom hall is jevoh witness cult headquarters. Will shouldve GONE inn on their religion. EVEN without support from em. Its about telling the truth NOT winning a popularity contest

glad to see that NOT all of the privileged white girls were not snooty and snotty brats. Wonder who this girl that lost the final was to Venus at the beginning of this clip?
