The gunners are constantly drinking the godliest Vodka which gives them autolocking on citadelts capabilities !

The CCs/ KZreadrs/Twitch should make a training battle with 1 team consisting of Thunderer, Conqueror, FDR, Austin, Smolensk, Smaland and other Balans ships and the Other team consisting of all the normal ships like Yamato, Montana, Audacious, Gearing and so on, and see which side will win and how one sided the win is.

Wouldn't tell us much. Skill is a big factor and also 1 battle is far too small of a sample size. Stats for Thunderer suggest it's not actually OP, same as Smol- neither have a high overall win rate. In both cases that'll be due to them being OP in the hands of a good player, not an average one. FDR stats say...OP. Hard to tell with things like Smaland, Austin and Stalin since they're more likely to be owned by good players so WR will be higher anyway. Kremlin being a tech tree ship with nearly 52% WR is obviously OP, like Petro and specially Kleber which I think may have the highest WR of any high tier tech tree ship.

The op ships would still win if they are played 55-60% wr players and the normal ships by super unicum players. I bet it wouldn’t matter.

@@ApothecaryTerry Isn't it because if you get a team of potatoes you'll lose anyway? So winrate of the specific ship wouldn't mean that much anyway. And that's kind of a problem. The devs try to make balance using only the spreadsheet.

@@MyGraveDancer That's why the sample size matters- across a million games, potato teams balance out to the point of irrelevance (chance of a significant variance for/against you after a million battles is close enough to 0 to ignore). If a ship is OP then over enough games it will have an impact on the team and generally increase the WR overall. For Kleber to get 52.65% across all players after nearly 500k games means it's definitely OP. For determining the effectiveness of an individual ship, WR is actually a decent tool. Where it falls down, especially in the case of CVs, is that it doesn't show the impact of a class on everyone else in the game. Since classes are always balanced across teams, WR will always be 50%, which doesn't show that fun for the other 10/11 players on each team dropped to about 0%.

@@somebody700 Even if skill could be perfectly balanced (for example by swapping the ships between teams), you'd need them to play a huge number of matches for the result to be of any statistical significance.

It’s kind of funny, when this ship first came out, it was met with a “meh” response by everyone. Now it’s OP.

When it was released the buffed it up. The first Thunderer was just like Conqueror with 457 gun upgrade and was just like mehh.. Then they buff the dispersion and AP fuse timing making it very effective in both AP and HE.

I now understand the Jingles vid from a few days ago where Yuro was using the name "ThunderersAreAssCancer" or something close to that anyway.

It seems WG has taken that one line from The Incredibles a bit too seriously. The one where Syndrome wants to get rid of superheros by giving everyone tech-based superpowers.

Anyone that has experienced turbulence in a airliner, will recoqnise that there is reason for small aircraft, like divebombers and torpedobombers to NOT fly in a thunderstorm.

4 days ago, 249k with mostly HE shells (17 fires), i tried some AP against kurfust and none citadels, so rest of the game fully british napalm, obviously helping my sectional team in A and push later, the map was North, without storm.

I admired/respected that Yamato captain for being a good sport just before he died. It's as if he knew he was going to be in trouble for poking the Flam-bear with a small stick.

Every time I have one of your videos playing while loading into a raid, I find a LEDx in E.112

Thunderer was so OP that WG balans department nerfed it's range to 23km and now it's so balanced that I am still able to do more than 130k dmg with HE on poor tanking ships in ranked

When that Yama landed the ''ouch'' salvo, the crew of the Thunderer got this msg: ''Attention on deck, Attention on deck, initiating THE PRODIGY - Firestarter drill!'' xD

This ship is the essence of 'troll' for me. 6-7 hit volleys that wouldn't cause fires etc.

So with that thought of yours at 13:20; that is balanced to an extent but also OP. The OP part will become each ships "unique thing" with a SAP reload booster austin having faster firerate the a 5%hp harugamo, smolensk being the "incinerator", thunder being the ship-based napalm bomber etc... That'll still be an OP ship lineup but not nearly as OP as having these current paper/physically impossible to build and/or arm ships mixed with historical WW1/2 ships

@@brianmahnke4720 I am sure a lot of people have already put range mod on and bumped it up from 23Km to 26.7Km. They should have done the same as Kremlin where you cannot fit range mod.

Seems like the correction for op/broken is to score the ships using points and modifiers for ship captains and enhancements then allow users to set a point cap within each game forcing teams to balance teams with good and bad ships.

How do you see how many modules you break?

Well, I played a Pommern lately for more than 150 Battles in Brawlerstyle... I never got one Thunderer close enough to come into my secondary range (12 km). This thing is made for HE spamming damage farmers w/o taking any risk. Really sad, that the HE spam is so much supported and brawling got nerfed.

Can someone explain to me how he knew if it would pass through the mountains? 7:02 I only started 1 week ago on this game and wanna know more.

This game is becoming like Tour the France. Everyone is on steroids.

I play with thunderer: 50 hits, 4-6 fire. Flambino plays with thunderer: 55 hit, 15 fire. Ummm... sure?!

i think the strategy of making every ship op may work, i dunno

"We're going to have more overpowered ships than balanced ones" And when everyone is OP, no one will be.

Thunderer looks at you, inflicting 4 fires and sinking your ship. Meanwhile, Colombo cant even hit a ship without deadeye. But then again, Thunderer was behind paywall.

Hey, it's perfectly fine. It's not like you need to carefully hit enemies in vital parts. All you have to do is hit them atleast 1 shell and baaam! Fire. It's not OP, trust me. :v

I am convinced Thunderer was made for the potato BB players who still fire mostly HE at tier 6+. Those guys love Thunderer. They can do 100K just sitting in the back, without any skill.

am i the only one that thinks its odd that they introduced a concealment based buff to dispersion on guns that made bb captains learn there concealment values by heart then remove it to replace it again with a skill to buff your speed as long as you are not detected?super stealth bbs in the future?teaching them the meta direction bbs staying in the back sniping no brawling meh maybe but w/e

When i first played WoWS in 2015 i loved that game and had waited since BS Pacific for such a pvp warship game. Six years later, i can't belive this became the most unbalanced game i've ever known.

I think the payment model screwed them in the end. Back from the beginning they should have made the game $10 a month to play so they can keep the game balanced and get revenue. The problem is they made it Free to Play so WG had to farm whales with super ships and ruin the balance.

This game has the same balancing ideas as Modern Warfare 2

I'd say smolensk is still more op than thunderer

Actually the ship could have hit other ships and planes from 100 km with literally lightings, frying all their electric components and such.

The whole idea with paper ships is often to design the most broken, most extreme, most powerful ship imagineable at the time. So naturally most if not all paper ships would be broken as fuck, and they usually have a good reason why nobody built them... Its not a problem of balance in that regard, its a problem of Wargaming adding these ships instead of real ones.
