My Zulu people must refuse to release the land into the hands of the chiefs. This land pretty soon will be in. The hands of private corporations and people of KZN will be landless like Batswana who lost Gauteng and North West to the mines . They are on land but owned by private mines and foreigners who are rich . I am talking as a Zulu person and with Tswana mother

ANC is stealing land with corporate mafias and I will do everything to defend the Zulu land. If you ask anyone who are the people of Gauteng everyone says no one. That land was part of North West or Batswana. The history has been twisted so many times. If we keep quite another land will be lost. That land in KZN is very rich because they can built ports and ocean economy is important and can generate billions for the people of KZN if is properly used. You will see most white claim that land belong to the people who have developed it not to those who have inhabited the land for all their lives. We are in trouble teach people so that they don’t vote for this mess

All along in our Rural areas, people have been getting I hectare of land, for just 10 000 rands, ..for land use purposes.. suddenly we are going to have to go to politicians for PTO, since when has these departments taken care of people,...do these politicians love us....do they even care about the African nations...As we speak farms are only distributed to elite politicians...lafa elihle kakhulu...

Read my comment above regarding the pros and cons of monarchy vs democracy. Elected officials under a democracy treat the electorate with contempt. They will also do anything to make them look better in the short even if it as the cost of the long term. Historically, monarchs who ruled despotically did no last long. China's political system and growth over the last 30 years, in some ways has more resemblance to a monarchy than anything else- they certainly havent been practising communism. Ultimately, a people and culture i think HAS to have a system of government that the people buy into. People the world over are becoming very fed up with democratically elected thieves. This is just an outsider's observation, who happens to admire the Zulu nation.

I dont like monarcy, mainly because of the potential for despotic rulers. However, i am beginning to think that i like democracy, with its politiians, even less. At least a monarchy has te long term view for the sake of his children/dynasty, whereas an elected politician only thinks about what mkes him/her look good for the next election cycle. The main incentive to being elected in a democracy seems to be that they can steal as much as possible in their term.

African politics is not entirely democratic... There's no equality of people in Africa, hierarchy defines the structure of families as well as the government...That is why , I will never be an equal to my father...who is the source of my identity... That is why we respect God, our Kings as well as our fathers more than the so-called democratic leaders. Kings are not just leaders, they are fathers of nations, they rule by loving and caring for their people, who are made out of families... Kings account to God and the Kingdom, they don't have personal manifestos... they don't come and go every five years....

@@senzomemela1311 if a referendum was held in KZN tomorrow between staying within the democratic SA, or seceeding (leaving the union of SA) under the government of the King, which way do you think the referendum would go? I ask because i genuinely dont know and i think it is an interesting political question, and perhaps one which should be engaged with honestly. Why do so many KZN not feel part of this union? Or am i wrong in saying that? I am not trying to stir up tribalism (i am white) i am simply wanting to understand the dynamics at play.

If Zulu people ever agree to the separation of land to the hands of the chiefs then their children will wake up landless with no history to the land.
