Korey look like he been in Martin closet with that shirt 😂😂

These guys should review the original, King Kong vs Godzilla.
Actually in king of the monsters they didn’t lose track of Godzilla. They kept track on him for five years but gave the illusion to the public that they lost track of him
Oh yes! The Double Toasted hosts vs King Kong Lives was the real match up I always wanted to see all along!
I've been waiting years for you guys to tear into this one.
Oh shit, that damn Corey had me cracking up every time he would mess up by calling King Kong Godzilla!

16:17 - Anyone else think she was gonna say "Love" instead of "A miracle"? Not sure what would’ve been dumber.
I mean losing Godzilla makes sense, Godzilla is native to the Ocean. We regularly lose lots of shit in the ocean. The Ocean is massive.
“EAT CHO VEGETABLES!” That part took me out 😂🤣😭
Chris kind've screwed up on a detail the reason in King of the Monsters they haven't found Godzilla is because he was hidden underneath the crust of the Earth. This was stated explicitly.
@EvangelionFan-ru7ri

That whole statement was ignorant. The only Godzilla movie that used “we lost him” as a plot point was the 98 film.

My god I forgot about that movie I had on VHS
I remember when king kong came out in 76. I even had a poster in my dorm room. The hype about the state of the art special effects made it the movie to see. I (we) thought the effects were awesome. Then came star wars close encounters and superman the movie and all of a sudden king kong looked like it was made in the 30s! Has any movie seem so dated so fast as king kong from 1976?
Oh shit!!! It’s Taggert from Beverly Hills Cop. 👏👏👏
I remember when I was at a babysitter's home and saw a the part Kong and his girlfriend were walking through this rodeo or cowboy party and was thinking to myself...."What the hell am I watching?!"
no billy laugh today 😔
I've actually saw this film in theatres here in Egypt but the film came in the early 90s because back then cinemas used to get films really late.
Personally, I always loved that they had the nerve to give Kong a Heart Transplant to justify the sequel, like I imagine the writers room scoffing at the ideas the Toho films have of bringing back Kaiju in their films and they in their arrogance thinking they could certainly do better
I wish they had a good game version that dropped with this movie. The peter jackson movie had a game that wasnt bad on the 360 and ps3. This could easily adapt to a good game, if the right devlopers were on board.
Y’all should’ve reviewed Peter Jackson’s King Kong from 2005.

32:35 that actually sounds like a great Netflix movie
Let’s not forget, Kong recently had a show on Broadway. Your move Godzilla.
I actually went to Madame Tussauds in London two years ago and stood in front of the King Kong model exhibit which included Kong's face and hands coming through the trees. The wooden poles with the ropes used to hold Anne Darrow. I wish I could upload my photo onto this page because it was epic and Kong's face and hands went from floor to ceiling.
Written by Steven Pressfield, author of The War of Art. He has some hilarious anecdotes in that book about this movie.
30:57 is it just me or does that bit of music sound straight out of Oblivion?
And best actor goes to frog witnessing Kong snack a crocodile.
surprised you guys havent get to see Godzilla vs Kong yet, it came out last week in my country. all i can say about the movie is it delivers on what it promised, in fact it delivered it excellently, but there is nothing more than that. leave your brain at home when you see it.

He does in the 1976 film.
In KOTM the news says Godzilla's been missing for 5 years but when they arrive at Castle Bravo base they know where he is generally. Since they "know where to look." IE his home base is kept secret. Pay better attention Chris.
I saw this movie once and the only thing I remember about this movie. Other than the title lied about Kong living at the end of the movie. Is that there is one moment in a crowd of people. There was a black kid waving a confederate flag. I'm not kidding.
The only thing I liked about the whole movie was that Kong finally beat the military. For once in these goddamn King Kong movies, he finally picked up the W. And then he died immediately afterwards, and my satisfaction disappeared.
Kong's most embarrassing moment was in the 60's Japanese movie where the blonde woman yells at Kong... "Kong,...get... that... ship...Kong!"
I've been waiting a long time for you guys to review this film! Here we go!...
41:27 RED FLAG RED FLAG 🙅🏾♂️🙅🏾♂️🙅🏾♂️
I'm glad you guys chose to review this, the 76 Kong movie was actually really good i thought, it was quite dark tbh especially the music.
You're forgetting the ho-ho's from Toho. LIVES is bad, but at least it's canon.
damn and I probably watched Cory and Martin's impression of overacting kong like 15 times, that was so damn funny.
So this was the offline version, I just seen the 1 hour Twitch test broadcasted a few hours ago and all seems good... at least at the time. Good luck with the cable Korey.
Funny for me because just last week I was listening to one of Steven Pressfield's books, The Art of War, and he discusses how this was the first movie he wrote for, how he thought it was going to be an instant hit, and how big of a failure it ended up being.
That golf ball would have been the size of a single sugar crystal if that giant snake was the size of a tree.
They missed the obvious hand puppets scene of the OG godzilla vs king kong lmfao
This movie feels like an old school Godzilla movie but with kong in it.
This whole thing was hilarious to watch. Wish this had a commentary for the entire movie to help the rewatch factor.
I was hoping you'd tackle this one!
3:24 like ......fuck you zilla lmao
I know one thing if godzilla v kong does well enough they gotta introduce ultraman at some point
Did they cover Godzilla vs Charles Barkley?
I loved this movie when I was a kid 5-9 years old.

I was just talking about this movie earlier today.
This movie is NOTHING compared to Kong King of Atlantis and Kong Return to the Jungle, both based on the 2000s tv series.
Has Rifftrax done this film yet because holy kaiju carnivores Id watch the hell out of it!
Linda Hamilton was a lead character in this? Huh, cool.
This movie may be bad, but Kong's most embarrassing moment was actually that God awful Netflix cartoon, Kong: King of the Apes, where Kong has a jetpack and the villain tries to frame him for various crimes, including a diamond heist (I'm dead serious, This was real!)
6:11 is that the Creature from the Black Lagoon theme?

Yes it is, the American version of King Kong vs Godzilla unfortunately replaced much the original japanese score with recycled music from american monster movies.
We don’t talk about this...
Kong took his fist on a round trip to G's face.

Oh god! I forgot this movie existed!
There's a Nintendo video game based off King Kong Lives and it was called King Kong Megaton Punch. but it only came out in Japan.
I would love to own this movie for a good laugh but i cant find it for sale anywhere
