    You know a sequel's pointless if you here the title character's heart stop at the end of the last one. King of the Monsters established the hollow earth is how Godzilla remains hidden for years

    Actually in king of the monsters they didn’t lose track of Godzilla. They kept track on him for five years but gave the illusion to the public that they lost track of him

    Chris kind've screwed up on a detail the reason in King of the Monsters they haven't found Godzilla is because he was hidden underneath the crust of the Earth. This was stated explicitly.

    I remember when king kong came out in 76. I even had a poster in my dorm room. The hype about the state of the art special effects made it the movie to see. I (we) thought the effects were awesome. Then came star wars close encounters and superman the movie and all of a sudden king kong looked like it was made in the 30s! Has any movie seem so dated so fast as king kong from 1976?

    I've actually saw this film in theatres here in Egypt but the film came in the early 90s because back then cinemas used to get films really late.

    Personally, I always loved that they had the nerve to give Kong a Heart Transplant to justify the sequel, like I imagine the writers room scoffing at the ideas the Toho films have of bringing back Kaiju in their films and they in their arrogance thinking they could certainly do better

    I wish they had a good game version that dropped with this movie. The peter jackson movie had a game that wasnt bad on the 360 and ps3. This could easily adapt to a good game, if the right devlopers were on board.

    I actually went to Madame Tussauds in London two years ago and stood in front of the King Kong model exhibit which included Kong's face and hands coming through the trees. The wooden poles with the ropes used to hold Anne Darrow. I wish I could upload my photo onto this page because it was epic and Kong's face and hands went from floor to ceiling.

    surprised you guys havent get to see Godzilla vs Kong yet, it came out last week in my country. all i can say about the movie is it delivers on what it promised, in fact it delivered it excellently, but there is nothing more than that. leave your brain at home when you see it.

    Kong didn't fall from the World Trade Center, it was the Empire state building. WTC wasn't built until the 70s.

    In KOTM the news says Godzilla's been missing for 5 years but when they arrive at Castle Bravo base they know where he is generally. Since they "know where to look." IE his home base is kept secret. Pay better attention Chris.

    I saw this movie once and the only thing I remember about this movie. Other than the title lied about Kong living at the end of the movie. Is that there is one moment in a crowd of people. There was a black kid waving a confederate flag. I'm not kidding.

    The only thing I liked about the whole movie was that Kong finally beat the military. For once in these goddamn King Kong movies, he finally picked up the W. And then he died immediately afterwards, and my satisfaction disappeared.

    Funny for me because just last week I was listening to one of Steven Pressfield's books, The Art of War, and he discusses how this was the first movie he wrote for, how he thought it was going to be an instant hit, and how big of a failure it ended up being.

    This movie may be bad, but Kong's most embarrassing moment was actually that God awful Netflix cartoon, Kong: King of the Apes, where Kong has a jetpack and the villain tries to frame him for various crimes, including a diamond heist (I'm dead serious, This was real!)
