0. The title says "Full Ending Scene" and the full ending is not there, it's missing the part where Kong is laying on the ground, and journalists are taking pictures. If the title was "King Kong almost full ending" I would've given it a straight 10

I remember watching this with my family at home, rite before Kong fell I stepped out the room and cried so hard, still gets me to this day 😔

Peter Jackson's Kong is still the best. Kong Island and Kong vs Godzilla are great but its moreso about the CGI and action than the story, where as Jackson's encompasses everything mixed in with an amazing & emotional story. It isn't even close.

This is the only movie which I had watched in theatre when I was 8 years old. I was in std 3 and this movie was shown by the school authorities.

Never forget seeing this for the first time as a kid and being amazed by all the powerful imagery and to this very day, I still am and always will be.

7:16 Cried after 15 years

SBC Helldiver. Beautiful planes, and beautiful (yet tragic) scene. Also, one thing I'd realized after so long.. was that Kong absolutely hated the planes when he first saw them because they reminded him of the flying beasts that would ambush his family in the past. He thought they were after himself and Ann, and so he put himself between Ann and the planes. He probably didn't associate them with people until he was fatally shot by them, almost immediately. It makes me more sad about the entire conflict and that he was put down like that. This Kong here had so much more personality and heart to him than the collosal sized one did. Andy Serkis did an amazing job.

Cancelled sequel and reboot In March 2021, Adam Wingard said in an interview that back in 2013, Peter Jackson had been interested in producing a sequel to the film, titled Skull Island, with Wingard as director and Simon Barrett writing it. Jackson had been impressed with Wingard's work in You're Next, and investigated a potential sequel. However, the King Kong rights had already been transferred to Warner Bros. by 2013, which complicated a sequel to a Universal-produced movie. Wingard says that Jackson was thinking of setting the proposed movie during World War I, which would make it a prequel, but that the studio was uninterested in a World War I era film. Wingard pivoted to offering a modern-day sequel, but ultimately nothing came of the proposal. Ultimately, Warner Bros. rebooted the franchise with Kong: Skull Island in 2017, which was part of the MonsterVerse. Wingard would later direct 2021's Godzilla vs. Kong, another film set in the MonsterVerse.
