Charles has stepped into a new role as king. There are obligations and expectations he is required to fulfill in that role. He understands all this very well, and is doing the job he has trained for all his life.

I agree with his message to a point. Reconcile with all of your family. Be the adult and the come back and repeat the message. He perpetuates the hate by not extending a olive branch of compassion to his youngest son. He running the gossip mills we erand by not shutting it down. It makes his message a bit hollow to me.
