I’m not the biggest fan of the Royal family tbh but I was quite impressed that whilst we have a Govt trying to blame our emergency services fighting for better work conditions and fairer pay , for Charles to highlight how valuable these people are was a good reminder that they deserve so much better .

He nailed it. I think he's got the potential now to be as loved as his mother was. We love our new king - Charles. Very touching.

I am far from uncritical of Charles and Camilla, but the sentiment displayed here, whether truly heartfelt or not, resonates with me. May 2024 bring us all peace, love, and joy. May our young people redeem the mistakes of previous generations and heal this planet. May we all have peace, justice, and love in our lives in the years ahead. May we all move closer in our relationship to the Divine and realise that this life is not the ultimate reality. May we practise peace, compassion, justice, and love above all else during our time on this planet. Amen.

Even though I'm an American, I look forward to seeing the Royal Family walkabout at Christmas and hearing the Queen's Speech. So sad she's gone now. But Charles did a wonderful job. Thank you for the kind words for your NHS workers and people that serve others. ❤🙏🏽

@@barndancer6149. lilymari ovic1644 is completely correct. The Monarch is never referred to as “Royal Majesty”. The Monarch is always referred to His Majesty or Her Majesty or Your Majesty. Other members of the Royal Family are referred to a His Royal Highness or Her Royal Highness or Your Royal Highness. If you have seen Royal Majesty elsewhere it is simply wrong.

As a former Police officer, and teacher, the words did indeed make me reflect on my service, it has not always been easy!

He seems like a very sweet man from what I've learned since I've started reading since before the Wedding. This family's kindness was absolutely wonderful, but to have it kicked in the face. So sad, what a son has done to this family. Thank Goodness he has another son an his family who all love each other.

The Royal Family should be shipped back to Germany as that is where they came from. In 1714 Prince Georg of Hannover was invited to Britain to become king. George I, II, III, IV and William IV all had German wives. Queen Victoria had a German husband; Gerorge V had a German wife. There is very little that is remotely English about the royal family. In 1917, they changed their family name from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor to lessen their German affiliations at a time of war with Germany, especially when Gotha aero-planes were dropping bombs on London! The British should ditch the monarchy and declare a republic.

It went very well! I too wondered how it would how it would with his mom was on his mind he did the best he could and he did very remarkable job at it! It wasn’t the same because all of us who watched the Christmas speech are used to the queen doing it for 70 years she did it, and it became tradition to sit down on Christmas Day, and watch the queen do the Christmas speech! But his majesty King Charles III did a wonderful job on it! Now I’m not from the UK or the Commonwealth, but I have watched the Christmas speech for lease 3 to 4 years now, and it has became a tradition for me to watch it! Like the shining star in the heavens calling the Three Wisemen, King Charles Christmas message is brilliant. He has so much good to offer.

My mom passed away nearly 20 years ago now. She was relatively still quite young when we lost her to cancer. Christmas was when she did the most for celebrating. We all went all out. Treats, decorations, everything. It's still bittersweet in a way, but the magic of Christmas is beyond presents and traditions. It is embued with hope and love that those that are not with us physically will always be with us in our hearts. Until we meet again.

Prince Charles is a man who has just lost his mother, his son has left the family, his brother is a pervert and he lost his first wife in an accident. However, seeing him deliver a message of good faith and positivity encourages me to keep strong, because I am struggling right now with my own family problems on Xmas day.

Time to abolish this outdated monarchy. This king's mother ,the so-called 'Queen' left behind a legacy of denial of treacherous plunder from nations, killing of innocent, unarmed civilians through inhuman laws and staying defiant on the crimes against humanity that her Empire perpetrated. She had 70 years to openly repent for their actions, but never once did I hear I'm sorry, or please forgive us, not once. She also had all the time in the world to return some or all of the stolen stones and artifacts from Africa and Indian subcontinent but never did. The torture, and Mutilation of people in the colonies can never be forgotten, or forgiven. She must be remembered in the light of her greedy, selfish actions and not some romanticized, redundant title. May those who perished because of her family's greed find peace. May humanity be spared from such characters in future. ..

Gosh he’s got a lovely voice probably the best speaking voice I’ve heard from any British monarch

A wonderful first Christmas speech as King Charles III 🎄 With the deepest hope and faith, I wish all people on this planet peace, prosperity, and happiness. 🫡 And as a citizen of Russia I apologize to the whole world for all the pain and destruction that our government has brought this year to our common world.🇷🇺 Long life to the King!🥹

Thank you, Your Majesty. You are certainly your mother's son and she'd be proud of you. The people that give so selflessly their time and love are heroes and helping others is what has brought us here. I hope we all continue to pull together and help where we can.
