You guys are among the Best! Suggestion: Please do Constantine the Great ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for a well balanced documentary on the Anglo-Zulu war. The Zulus may have been defeated eventually but the Battle of Isandlwana stands as testament to their warrior spirit forever. I will always be proud of my ancestors for their bravery.

WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
While their kingdom may have been doomed, the Zulus carved their mark into history in the face of the mightiest empire the world had yet seen.
Royal family sent some British soldiers to get pieced apart by zulus. Must’ve been a frightening site
Very interesting, being an American this is history I have never heard before.

Serious???
Thanks so much for this. Thoroughly enjoyed and learnt something.
This is beautiful. Can you do a video about King Sekonyela and Batlokwa people about King Moshoeshoe and the basotho people. That would be interesting.
Fantastic! Looking forward to which other enigmatic figures will be documented this year. 😊
Fascinating.
Hello I'm a big fan of your channel. The content and video are such impressive! Great
Guns made all the difference. The man with the guns always came out on top then!
Great production
Dinuzulu's defeated Zibhebhu and his army at the Battle of Ghost Mountain (also known as the Battle of Tshaneni). Zibhebhu and Eckersley, a white trader, escaped by climbing the Lubombo mountain. In September 1884 Zibhebhu guided the remnant of the Mandlakazi, about 6,000 people, into the "Reserve Territory" an area set aside by the British for Zulu not loyal to the Zulu royal house.
20 years ago before the internet was massively restricted, I saw some chapters in a book called washing of the spear from Dr. Dr. Morris eyewitness. He documented Shaka Zulu's use of war, elephant tactics and his genius. But That edit of the book was from the 1800s but that edit was banned in the United States and the edit i bought was missing the segments out book..... And that changed my whole view on African history and how the information of history is controlled by countries and treaties to secure the ruling status hegemony over their population and psychological conditioning.
Great programme. Whats new though? The battles within the zulu nation is still going on, Why don't they just settle down once and for all?
I am Zulu. I know this history, and I am grateful at the attempt to retell it as objectively as possible. Thank you very much.

Good documentary
After the Battle of Ulundi, King Cetshwayo was hunted down and captured by the british racists. The Zulu monarchy was suppressed and Zululand divided into autonomous areas. Cetshwayo's possessions were seized, and he was sent into exile in Cape Town, and later London.
Very interesting
How does anyone know when these tribespeople were born?… It’s not like they knew how to keep track and record these things!

You make it as if they were not able to count. As much as they are not all accurate but are very close. There were researches and calculations done to ascertain them.
Wait... Muhammad Ahmad and now Cetshwayo... Hyder Ali and Tipu are next? 🤔
I don't know if it's me and I'm just putting it here more for the channel owner to see but I used to really like this channel and now I'm finding myself not even listening half the time. I am sorry I don't want to seem rude. But are you doing something different? You pick amazing topics. Take this one. It's something I have a deep fascination with, but I am struggling to get into it. It might just be me, and if it is, I apologise and please ignore me, but I thought I would mention I as it's been the case with at least the last few I have watched.
Where did the narrator get the line that Cetswayo's mother was the great wife? Word says he was born out of wedlock.
Hi there, what about salvation. How will it profit a man to gain the world 🌎 and to loose his soul?😮
Why were the other kings not photographed if they lived during his time?cud he been gr8

UJinindi omnyama, umamonga woSuthu. Isilo uCetshwayo, wena we ndlovu.
All of the men look they are they are pregnant! 😂
They fought a bunch of farmers, how noble.
I don't know why the British acts like they destroyed the Zulu it's very much alive today
Cetshwayo was a victim of British Imperialism not the Zulu political system...

Not sure how he would feel about being labelled a victim

@@julieme7927 I answered the question asked at the end of the video by the creator... My response has absolutely nothing to do with how King Cetshwayo "felt" about it.... If to you he was not a victim of British Imperialism, Then what would you say he was? You question leaves me wondering if we even watched the same video....
The king was obviously manipulated by the invading Germans and British in South Africa.. formerly "Zulu Land" .!!

And before that it was Khoisan land. What's your point?
There is no half brother or half uncle in African culture that’s western culture
Overweight???
I was at the zoo the other day and needed to go to the toilet. I asked one of the staff where the toilets are and she said, "oh you mean the zoo loo"
