Kincrome K8411 OBD2 scanner review

I've recently purchased a Kincrome K8411 OBD2 scanner, so thought it worth while to share my thoughts. These retail for around $190 and I personally think they are overpriced for what you are getting especially if they are compared to some cheaper units, infact I don't think this unit offers any more that many generic OBD2 scan tools.

I use the GAP IID on my D3 and nothing else comes close but for my Jeep and daughters cars (Suzuki & VW) I've had good success with the Autel AP200. £100 ish in the UK gives you the tool on the first vehicle and then you can buy bolt ons for about £25 each/yr for further manufacturers. I'd give it an 7.5/10...

Gap IID is great, just a shame in a way that its limited to just the Land Rovers! Thanks for your suggestion

I would agree infact the AP200 is my Landrover tool and I have used it on other cars. It is a yearly subscription of about $35 for other cars but well worth it as part of solving or diagnosing a problem.
Can you check original odometers?

Maybe you’ll have more luck than me. I found later on kinchrome has a vehicle list on their website for this. Maybe if you have something that’s there it might be ok
