I absolutely love this track. It takes me back to the woman who was my, "ONE", and all the time we spent loving one another. We grew up together and were best friends as pre teens, and into adulthood. She and I stopped talking 3 and a half years ago, I was thinking of getting clean and sober, but she was not ready and so we lost contact with each other, which was the hardest thing I have had to do since burrying my Mother at age 16. I found out that just around 3 years ago, six months basically after we split, she died of an overdose in a parking lot in Las Vegas, and I found out around 2 weeks ago. I miss her so badly this song brought me to tears.

I was taught in the Army to be tough and how to turn off all feelings and emotions, but this is something that I am having a really hard time overcoming. My biggest problem is that when I was an active addict I burned a lot of bridges and lost a ton of people in my life, so in reality I am all alone

Lost my wife a year ago due to terminal illness.. we’d been married only few years back… it was so painful just watching her suffer everyday at the hospital giving her hope … all those medications and injections everyday… I still don’t understand how strong one could be.. she wanted to live so bad; she wanted to live with me so badly.. she died in my arms and I couldn’t do anything… now I don’t have any wish… 🥺😭 everytime I miss her i come here and listen to this song 💔

Didn't watch the movie, but I'm assuming she has a terminal illness. He still loved her, and shows her the best time he possibly can while she's still here. That's deep, because in the end he knows she will pass away. Some will think it's a waste of time... but he made that little bit of time the beat time of her life despite wasting his own time. That's love. Going to watch this movie to see what happens.
