KIN | Lauren L. Hill & Dave Rastovich
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
“All of life - each breath, every sip - is an inheritance from those who came before.” Like many Australian families, the ocean is where Lauren L. Hill and Dave Rastovich’s family connect - through surf and play.
Just a few generations ago, the ocean was considered too big to fail. Now with so many threats, the ocean seems too big to fix. In search of solutions, Lauren and her family travel to Lord Howe Island Marine Park, one of Australia's most protected marine sanctuaries.
KIN is a story of the ocean, love and connection. It’s about the world we’ve inherited, the choices we can make, and what it looks like when we get things right.

About Patagonia:
At Patagonia, we appreciate that all life on earth is under threat of extinction. We’re using the resources we have-our business, our investments, our voice and our imaginations-to do something about it.

Science in poetic form. Simply beautiful.
Inspiring, beautiful. Thanks.
So beautiful and inspiring, a deeply needed reminder for all coastal + Ocean communities. Thank you!
I was hoping for a bit more surfing but watched because it was really good. That footage made me think of all the good times I had with friends, family, and the ocean. I want a few memories like that with each person I love.❤
So beautiful. Lovely family. Makes me happy. Save the ocean 🌊
Beautifully done. Thank you Patagonia and Lauren and Dave for your stewardship of our oceans.

Patagonia is a fraud. This is greenwashing at it’s finest. Apparently it worked on you…

Queria sempre quiz saber quantas ongs e orgs, existem pelo planeta, quantas?
00:29 that made my day
how many surfboards are in landfill? How many fishing nets for the fish they eat?
The coastline in this video is stunning. Can anyone share what part of Australia this is? Thanks in advance.

It's mentioned in the video description. It's Lord Howe Island, which is a few hundred miles off the east coast of mainland Australia
is this in English? I can't quite tell.
We look to have past, to have future...❤
Watch in 1.25 speed. Much better.
mad bodysurffing talent too
Looks like the same beach they used in the film the shallows

Beautiful reminders, script and footage. Now, if we could only get the board of directors of fossil fuel companies to watch the film.
I love this family. In my videos on KZread I show how my family lives, here in Italy, in the same way trying to protect the sea.
Dave & Lauren & kin, can you surf on over to Australia Zoo & join up with Wildlife Warriors, because you totally have the spirit that could combine in a beautiful, powerful consciousness raising planetary way =^.^= not far from Lord Howe
O que nos estamos fazendo! Hoje li que milhares de alimentos são jogados fora , pelo amor de Deus! Não pode acontecer isto.
“Yeah we’re flesh & bone but… mostly we’re just water” 💦
Man I thought I was gonna watch a new Fugees video . I gotta learn to spell better I guess .
Use your privilege wisely.

There is no hope sadly. Too many people in the world and way too much garbage.
Trillions of creatures die annually in industrial fishing. Eat plants.
Si quieres salvar el oceano para que contaminas con la navegación por ocio?? No sería mejor estarse quietos? Claro eso no da dinero..

Wtf are they talking about
Very pretty video. As much as I have respect Patagonia’s conservation efforts, I don’t think this video will have any effect on millions of people who can’t possibly connect to this privileged white family

So, what is the point of your comment? Spreading defeatism? It’s those people who want to be part of the solution (no matter how privileged) that need solidarity and support. Humanity was ready to fix the self inflicted ozone layer problem. Now it’s time to start fixing the self inflicted misery of the climate emergency.
