確か旧の放映時点じゃキンブリーは原作の方だと名前だけ出てた程度だったから、中身は完全にオリジナルなキャラとして登場させたと、どっかで見たような。

Pretty fucking crazy how Scar basically just liquifies all those chimeras like he’s simply swatting away bugs, fma 2003 was brutal.

キンブリーの時のちょっと低めのうえだゆうじさんの声がめちゃくちゃ好き 他は低音か可愛い声が多いけど、もっとこのくらいの声聞きたい

He is younger actually. In Brotherhood, Scar was an adult when the Ishvalan genocide happened. He was also a protector, so to speak. Scar in this series was about Edward's age, and very clearly a civilian. Thats why he has a different body type than Scar from brotherhood.

I don't know. He did much better here against Scar than in their Brotherhood train fight, and Scar didn't even have the stone absorption advantage there.

Scar is physically more capable and the dude kept up with Wrath in Brotherhood. Even though he was weak from Buccaneer, they said that he still seemed impossible to defeat but Scar kept up. So I would like to say that Scar in Brotherhood is stronger than this one. Also the fight in Brotherhood was on a train.

@@thelaughingman6975 Legit. Bradley straight up speed blitzs a melee specialist like Lan Fan were she couldn't even react to it. Ling and Scar were only characters shown that could successfully react and deflect attacks from him. Brotherhood Scar could probably beat every 2003 character except maybe Pride and Lust. We never see Pride go all out, and 2003 Lust seemed pretty good at combat.

This is a hot take, but I honestly really like 2003 Kimblee (kimbley). Despite being less of a fleshed out character than his Mangahood version, I honestly really felt his presence here since he had a bit more to do in the story. Super intimidating.

I seen the 2003 version and wanted to know the difference between brotherhood and this one, and it is like the huge difference is that the brotherhood and this one that was based on the book and the 2003 was not it's an interesting cause everyone knows that brotherhood is based on a book and was inspired to make into a show but if someone were to follow it's roots to the 2003 they would question on the quality the show has it surely left me in thought on what's going to happen next but I will let my head to theorize on what would have happened next.

@ipad103 It's kinda like, the bad ending in a multiple choice rpg. It would have been better to see this version first and then see brotherhood afterwards.

I saw fma before fmaB and while I think that Brotherhood is better in Most ways there are a few things I liked better in fma. Greed in the first series was awesome from start to finish. In Brotherhood it took awhile for him to become as awesome. Lust was more interesting in fma, Greed's crew got more screentime and Bradley revealed his eye much later which resulted in one hell of a WTF moment. Generally though, Brotherhood felt better.

I think the only problem i had with this kimblee is for no discernible reason he could survive for about a minute with his heart blown out. But other than that, it shows us that even if you're idealistic like al and want to save people from themselves, we humans are like the horse. The one you can bring to a river but one you can't make drink. This version is more brutal and closer to how characters with super natural powers would act in real life. And scars redemption in 2003 was much better. Though he wasn't nice or kind like Ed and al, he feels more fleshed out and human here.

And at his dying moments, he saved Al and the townsfolk of Lior and also basically gave the Elrics what they’ve been searching for all along.

I prefer this version rather than FMAB. Both are good, but I believe that in this version all have better character development.

And the energy, the tone, the vibe, the explanation about the origins and weakness of the homunculi, the power source of alchemy, and the other side of the gate are all way better than Brotherhood. Brotherhood only handled Kimblee (except his death) and Bradley better.

@lobitodawolf Well they started this one but, then fma's creator would've have had the manga done it time to keep up with the anime. They didn't the anime to go on a break, so they took this one and gave it a different plot and later on they created brotherhood which follows the manga completely. And so the debate began of which one was better. I really don't care for those arguments as I think both were great anime.

堕天の王 こっち旧アニメの方だしね

理想と現実の違い って感じがするぜ 理想の結末が二期 現実の結末が一期 戦い方も一期は実に現実味を帯びた立ち回りで 走り方や臨場感もリアルな現実の味がするが, 二期はまさに王道漫画の味がするからな キンブリーは死に方は一期がリアルだな 二期のセリムの精神世界で死霊の渦に去るのも良いが一期が俺は気に入ったぜ♪
