😢 I've been homeless three times in my lifetime the first time my daughter was 3 years old now she's 31 years old and children that go in these situations turn out to be very strong the funny thing is she is now a social worker working with people who are homeless and I'm so proud of her

25 years ago, I was pregnant and homeless for my entire pregnancy. After my pregnancy I bounced as a single mom from cheap motels to even cheaper ones. I can certainly relate to Kimberly’s struggle. I didn’t have any mental health issues but that time had a big impact on my life. I became a registered nurse, married had three more children and most importantly I don’t judge. I walked in those shoes and I know what it feels like. Kimberly is strong, structured and she will make it. Her daughter is an absolute doll and if not for herself she will claw her way out of there for her daughter.

Kimberly is seriously the sweetest and has such a gentle soul. She is such an amazing mom, and despite all of her adversity, obstacles, and pain that she’s endured, she is obtaining victories and is making progress to create a wonderful life for her and her daughter. Kimberly is absolutely beautiful, and I see a great future in store for her. When she talked about wanting to find a husband, create a family, and find a man who wouldn’t hurt her or mistreat her - I teared up, because I could relate to having those desires too! It was an honor to see a glimpse of her journey, I wish her nothing but the best! ✨

A beautiful soul who I want nothing but success and happiness for her and her daughter… HOWEVER, it is so frustrating to see yet another young woman who can barely take care of herself, precarious living situations, no real job prospects and already an unstable mental health getting pregnant… why are we still so confused about where babies come from and how to prevent it???? These kids & helping them with their lives is probably the highest n best love-based, life affirming, creative way our government can spend its money so forget treating them like they are street kids, on substance of some kind, needing to be saved from themselves. They are problem solving on the highest level as much as any graduate or more so since they care for more of life than their own & deserve the utmost respect for it❤

It’s too easy to come with a thinly Veiled criticism and/or judgment of a fellow human being who is experiencing homelessness. But for the Grace of God there go YOU. I’m 15 minutes into the video wondering where is her child support and why didn’t the baby daddy take the daughter so she’s not homeless until the baby momma got herself together? 🤔

I'm trying not to be negative here. But more appropriate clothing for a job interview is necessary.

If she has all of those mental health issues she could get a check. Is she medicated? She does look sad in the eyes. I really hope the best for her ❤ she shouldn't have been wearing fishnets on that interview ijs. Jasmine needs a snack or something.

You are such an inspirational beautiful human being!! Although you experienced so much abuse at the hands of your Mother you made a conscience choice not to do the same with your daughter!! Seek God, serve him and teach your daughter his ways/principles and commandments and he will guide you and use your beautiful gifts to help others!!😊❤

The only thing is when you add kid into the mix the dpss and other programs like housing give parents priority over a single person no dependants in the same situation. Don't get me wrong its still extra hard when its not just you to take care of out there safety wise especially. Either way homelessness has alot of layers to it and you have to be so resilient mentally and physically.

I hate that people put a stigma on homeless parents, like they are horrible parents. In turn they are the best because they don't give up for their kids. I hope this girl finds her peace
